After reading thru that article, IF all players stick around as mentioned and develop/progress each year from now until then, that Irish team will be "scary" .... scary good that is!!! Damn!

Shaquelle is receiving his invite to the Army All American game on November 7. He is reportedly also going to announce his choice that day, instead of waiting until the game in January.

Has he taken any visits after his trip to ND? If not, I would think its probably good for us that he'll be announcing next week. Go Irish!

I've got a good feeling about this one too. I think he commits to ND. I just have a feeling. He has to be looking at the season Floyd is having and thinking that could be him. Floyd having a monster year has to be good in these youngster's eyes to see that they can, indeed, play early.

My thoughts exactly. How could a young WR want more than a pass-first team and national TV exposure. Add in 5- star QBs and its perfect for a WR.

I've got faith the Irish will bring in Shaquelle. I've believed he would be Irish since his decommitment from USC.

From a local paper USC blog:

A question regarding the elusive Shaquelle Evans, as opposed to the elusive Randall Carroll.

Q: Shaquelle Evans will announce his choice of college on November 7. Is USC still recruiting him hard and what will Evan's choice? Also, who else is USC recruiting hard this year beside Te'o, who will mostly go to UCLA?

A: USC is still recruiting Evans but right now it looks like Notre Dame is the leader. Someone asked last week who the next commitment will be and I don't think there will be any right now unless someone gets an impulse. It seems like most players want to wait until after the season. USC had some high-profile Southern recruits in last weekend but they did not commit yet.

wha!?! That has to be a mistake or mis print... Te'o is most likely going to Provo right, i had no clue UCLA was even a factor there

two things,

1) that is someone's question/opinion, not the recruiting writer responding. that's just someone e-mailing the blogger.
2) Yes, i think it is a possibility, based on his prior visit to UCLA:
UCLA may creep up into one of the top spots this weekend with a good visit. He speaks highly of Norm Chow, who is also Mormon, and all of Manti's interviews mention how highly he values going somewhere that shares his values.

What I forgot to mention in that post was that not only is Norm Chow a fellow mormon, they also went to the same HS. The connection with Chow could be a big thing for Te'o.
