Let's start it up.

Herbie picked us to win... Not a whole lot of guys picking us to win. Although i did like what Dennis Dodd over at CBS said about us:
Dennis Dodd, Senior Writer: They believe in South Bend that Jimmy Clausen has turned the corner. I'm starting to drink the green beer. That was damn impressive by Carolina beating the poo out of UConn. This is different. ND is coming together on the offensive line. Clausen is becoming a killer. Prediction: Notre Dame 35, North Carolina 23

I like that prediction! I am ready for a big game from the boys. It is weird since I am out of my routine a bit this morning. We are completely hosed in So Cal since they are showing Purdue - OSU over the Irish, so I have to go out in public and watch the game at a bar. Paying for drinks and having to behave myself is a strange concept for me. I can't throw things and storm out to my backyard to yell and curse. I have do use some decorum and actually act like an adult (something that is very difficult for me - just ask my wife).

I am really pumped for this game. I think we come out strong and jump on the Heels early. The question remains as to whether or not this team can give the death blow to the other team and kick them when they are down.

I don't remember what my original prediction was, but I am going to say:

ND 33 NC 28

GO IRISH!!!

CRANK ME UP!!!!!!!!!

There is nothing much louder than a room full of Irish fans. Also sadly, there is nothing more profane sometimes. My better half had this look of disbelief the first time I invited a few of my buddies over to watch the Irish. She even knew some of them before but had never seen them watch a Notre Dame game. I think the term "psycho" was even used.(in the plural form) She leaves now during game day. I dont think I have ever sat down during the fourth quarter of a close game. Go IRISH!

Wow, it looks like ESPN Nation is against us again with almost 80% voting for NC. I feel very confident about this game. I think the ground game gets going, since NC usually only brings the front four, and Allen rushes for 125 yds and a TD. Jimmy throws for 275 yds and 2 TDS. The D keeps Tate in check and chips in with a INT for another TD. Then to make my boldest prediction of the day, Walker kicks a 39 yd FG to finish out the scoring. I just hope that they finally put together a complete game in all areas. It should be a great game to watch.

I believe that we will win this game and that it will not be as close as a lot of people are predicting. I believe that our defense is up to to this challenge and will force some turnovers by this inexperienced QB. I also believe that either Armando Allen or Golden Tate will have a return TD this week. One final prediction...I believe that Duval Kamara will get back on track with a great game.

Notre Dame 35-UNC 14. Or we will win by 14. A score to that nature

This would be a huge win, being on the road with UNC favored by 9. I'm saying ND 28-17.

I think we CAN play with them but we have to do it on the road agasint any legit team before ANYONE outside our camp gives it to us... let alone the haters... SO, best way to look at this game imo is that we will play the average game we have seen over the past year and a half... take some steps that we have seen us take every week this year and lose a one to two score game...

I want to enjoy this one so that's how I am viewing it... just play well... keep the team growing!!!

that way if we do come out all systems firing, for once, and stem roll a really good team... it'll be that much better




either way, keep your heads high, we ARE on the come back...

This freiigin sucks. !st I start with OSU, then it goes to ND, and right in the middle o the kickoff return, it goes back to OSU. WTF!?!

Thank god for xm radio... I brought it in from the car and I'll listen to the game while working around the house....... which means playing XBox and drinking Mike's hard limeades...........

not only that but USC is right back in the thick of things with OU's loss this morning... damnit

That is a huge loss for NC with Tate getting knocked out of the game. We need to take advantage of that.
