Okay, maybe he wasn't wide open, but he had a lot better chance than Tate did. How many times today have there been miscommunications between Jimmy and the receivers. I can think of 3 of the top of my head. Oh yeah, the last one came after a timeout. No fricking excuse. Mental mistakes cost us this game.

Missed opportunities. I found something out about us today though. We could be a deadly football team throwing the football if we spread them out and attack the middle. The fades and deep throws were expected from us and thats why we struggled to move the ball in the first half. Those will work if we find single coverage and get the defense to play up. MSU just sat back and waited on those because they knew they were coming. The INT's will drastically be reduced if we run the offense we did in the 2nd half.

one thing i'd like to see more are draw plays. and not draw plays on 3rd and long. they worked really well when darius walker was here and they'd work now. the freshmen need to work on their blocking too. michael floyd was struggling to block his man on those quick passes to robby parris and kyle rudolph needs to work on his run blocking.

again here what we have to look at right now... my honest thoughts
Purdue- big loss.. I said at the start of the year we'd be in trouble that game and got killed for it... how many of you like our chances against thier pass attack now?????????
Stanford- we will go in looking for confidence and get some in a hard fought win most likely
UNC- push
UW- I don't see us losing that under any normal circumstances
Pitt- loss
BC- Push
Navy- Win
Syracuse- win
USC- hey anything can happen but we'll have to improve in amajor way to even keep it competitive

Dude. FGs are the least of our problems in "getting in the hunt."
I have seen nothing that makes me think we will magically be in a NC hunt next year.

wtf do we care about next year for???? we have a winning record this year and sorry guys we will NEVER EVER EVER EVER win a NC without ending the bowl losing streak first and that could happen this year... keep the eyes on the now
