Is there anything better than getting ND tickets?

Just recently purchased 5 ND tickets for the Syracuse game. When I buy tickets to go watch the Irish its like the best thing ever. Now I know some of you may say, "Syracuse" are you kidding? Well it's still a trip to South Bend baby!!! And besides that my cousin plays college football and his season will be over by then, assuming they don't make the playoffs again considering they have never made them. No matter what game you see the Irish play it's a great experience, I try to go to at least 1 game a year up there.

I've seen the Irish twice. Once vs. Miami at Orange Bowl Stadium (lost) the season before our last NC. And then at AFA in 2003 (I think, maybe 2002) (win). I've never been to South Bend, but I'm hoping my wife will buy me a vacation package for my 45th B-Day in 3 years.

I have seen the Irish @ south bend 3 times, @ Neyland Stadium twice, and @ baltimore once. I hate watching games at Neyland because of all the puke orange but that stadium is huge but it fails in comparison to Notre Dame Stadium- There are no better venues to watch a game than at ND.

Well in past years, Michigan and Notre Dame is who you want to watch at Notre Dame stadium, but we'll see in the future. I mean, fans are chanting the school songs before the game, during the game, and after the game. The tailgating is one for the millions, every Notre Dame fan is like a brother or sister, it doesn't matter if you know someone or not, if they are an ND fan then they can drink and eat with you all day! The weather is usually beautiful in the fall. The experience is one for the ages, i live in South Bend so it's something i look forward to every year.

I just got tickets to the home opener. And I've seen Navy, Army, Air Force, BC, USC, BYU and Duke. The USC game was the last time ND won, so I'm a perfect 7-0

I got home yesterday evening to find my Syracuse tickets in the mail. What a nice surprise. This will be my first game in South Bend and I can't wait. We are staying within walking distance apparently to the game which makes it even better for tailgating purposes. I get to see ND twice this year...the first being the week before vs. Navy in Baltimore. I'm sure M&T Stadium can't compare to the house that Rockne built.

I've seen purdue(04),syracuse(05),and boston college(07) every game was special. I think every game has something special to offer be it a rivial game or a season opener.

Thanks Moose. The weather is a good point. My wife told me to start researching a trip in the next couple of years. (I want to bring my 8 year old for his first un-official visit, before the official visit in high school!!). I think I'd prefer a game when it's not going to snow and we won't freeze our butts off being from Arizona.

Going to campus in the middle of Novemeber is a very special experience. The last home game before the trip out west... It's gonna be a good one no matter who they play.

That's exactly how I do it. My fiance went to ND, and her dad works for the university, so he has season tix. Last year we flew in for the USC game, and this year we're going to Michigan.

As for going through a broker. My friend bought endzone tix for the SDSU game 3 weeks ago and it cost him about $140 per. That was the best he could find online. ND tix are consistently the toughest tix to get in the land. Last year, of the 5 hardest to get tix for college football game, ND had 4 out of the 5, with OSU/Mich being the other one. This year will be easier because of the schedule and mild expectations, but you're still gonna spend a pretty penny...

I have two tickets to the Michigan game this year...I'm flying in from Florida and as a secret weapon I'm flying in my son from Boone NC. Yes he is a senior at Appalachia State
this year. I'm really tempted to wear App State gear to freak out the Michigan fans attending. My daughter just graduated from ND last year and and will be at the game too. This game could be the start of something big for the Irish this year.

airforce (when Powlus broke his arm), Vanderbilt (Last season of Holtz's career at N.D.), TN at ND (05), G.T. (season from Hell). LSU in 2000 in the bowl game.

i went t see pitt in 04 or 03, went to see them play gt in atlanta, went to go see them play ncstate in the gator bowl a while back, went to the air force game last year. we try to go once every year, might not make a trip this year tho money is too tight right now, i'll just have to stick to my irish pub.
