I just want Lemming to put out his rankings so I can see if we have 14 five stars.

but Georiga and GT never offered. What are they thinking especially GT, like GT is overflowing with DT talent or something. I just don't understand how they couldn't offer this monter right under their nose.
Omar said on PowerHour tonight that he had 72 offers!but Georiga and GT never offered. What are they thinking especially GT, like GT is overflowing with DT talent or something. I just don't understand how they couldn't offer this monter right under their nose.
At this point in time, we should be the last ones to question GT's preferences for defensive talent-as they have had some of the best defenses in the country in recent years. From watching their front play, I can see how they may not find Hunter to be a perfect fit. He IS, however, a perfect fit for our defense and I'm glad we got him.
This supports my case, which was he doesn't fit their defense. I don't care if their guys get drafted. I care that their defense kicks ass. And if Tenuta doesn't feel Hunter fits his scheme, that explains the lack of a GT offer. It doesn't say anything about talent. It speaks to fit.Yeah, but a lot of their success is attributed to their defensive scheme and Jon Tenuta.

Brown obviously feels he does fit ND's new scheme.

As esteemed as Georgia Tech defensive coordinator Jon Tenuta is, Rodriquez’s offense made mincemeat of it in the 38-35 Gator Bowl victory last January
I wasn't the one making this a talent issue. Your statement assumed that G Tech's defense was so good that we shouldn't question their talent evaluators:
I agree that college talent doesn't always translate to the NFL. Heisman trophy winner Eric Crouch is living proof of that, but when seven defensive players from the National Champion Florida Gators team get drafted, you have to admit its a pretty clear indicator. That's compared to 0 G-Tech defensive players.
You know what speaks more than star rankings? 72 FRICKEN OFFERS! 72! That's over half of D-1!
