Jelani visited Michigan, ND and Michigan State this weekend. He has a few more midwest colleges to check out in the next couple of days. No real news other the the proverbial "everything went well".

If he did indeed visit scUM, Mich. St. and ND all this past week and left South Bend w/ a good impression of ND, one would think that should lead to getting an official visit. Let's hope so just in case Shaq opts out of ND being his choice of teams (though it appears that ND's chances for him are looking really good).

i would just love to see him paired with carlo. no one will want to go up the middle and none will be able to get to the outside. not to mention the qb's will have to run shotgun all the time

yeah except he'd have to grow 3 inches and gain 70 lbs. Jelani should make for a great collage LB, but at the next level he'll most likely play safety. So the next Ed Reed would be more likely.

God i just want this kid here. Think he fits the notre dame mold perfectly....would be amazing in Tenuta's and Browns Blitz happy aggressive defensive styles. I cant wait to see our defense this year. As long as our offense keeps the defense from being on the field the whole game, i think we have a easy shot at a top 10 defense.
