None when you’re losing. Only theoretically being up 20 - 17 is tangibly better than 19 - 17, but so is 21 - 17. Don’t get it at all

I agree, I think going for 2 was the right call. No idea why you'd back off that. Being down 5 instead of 4 doesn't change the math that you need a touchdown to win and can't kick a field goal to tie. Also, even if you miss and stay down 5, a FG from Nebraska still keeps it a one score game.
