My only question would be how would you be able to fit that name on the back of a jersey?

Showing some more love. We need him to fill the slot position. He'll be here on June 16th

This kid is out of Allen, TX; I've saw him play a few times last season and he is a very very good player.

He is a 4 star on rivals.

Besides the schools you listed, he also has the following schools listed at medium interest on rivals.com, they have all offered him as well.
Arkansas
Louisville
Nebraska
Oklahoma
Washington State
TCU

Word is that he is also interested in running track, specifically the 4x100 relay.

You could scratch everyone off the list except ND, A&M and Oklahoma. That's his top three.

In his article he says
Texas A&M is the front runner, and Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Kansas are the other ones that have sparked his interest the most.

He also says that a school will really have to impress him to get him to go out of state, because all else equal he would prefer to stay close to home.

I would love it if he ends up at Notre Dame, and hopefully the Irish can make a big impression when he visits on May 15th.

Of course you can never really totally count any team out, there are hundreds of examples of players who end up giving a verbal to a team that was never mentioned in an article as a top 3 or 5.

We are also his parents favorite. That alone should ease his out of state fears to ND

He's strong and is a good blocker. Although, I don't know if he has legit 4.4 speed and 41 inch vertical.

I think he is the best bet for a standout WR...we are definetly in need of a slot wideout.

As long as the May visit goes well (especially like our chances if the folks come, who are noted as liking the Irish) I hope we see him make another visit for a game, official or not.

UZOMA NWACHUKWA, WR, 6-0, 187, 4.41, ALLEN, TX

Uzoma has offers from Arkansas, Kansas, Nebraska, Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Washington State, Missouri, Oklahoma and others.

“I like Nebraska I recently talked to Coach John Papuchis he sounded pretty good.” said Nwachukwa, “JP said I could play early and they wanted to upgrade their receiving corps and they needed a player like me. JP said it’s all about the players (At Nebraska) not just winning just a positive atmosphere.”

“I’m not sure if I will visit them (Nebraska) this summer. I’m going to try to visit schools that offered me.” he said

“I talked to Coach Ianello (Notre Dame) he was over here last spring and Coach Weis. He’s (Weis) like a celebrity. Notre Dame coaches said I could play early they would like to fit me in the slot.” said Nwachukwa, “

“I’m going to visit Notre Dame June 17 with my brother and mom.”

“I like Missouri a whole lot.” he said, “I like what they do on offense it’s like what we do here (Allen). Coach Jackson is a really nice guy. Missouri coaches said I can play early. They expect Maclin to go pro early. I will probably visit them this summer.”

“I liked Texas A&M Junior Day’s it was like one big real family. Coach Randy Jordan is an exciting guy, very funny and always laughing. A&M coaches said I will definitely play early use me in the slot, run reverses and use me as a deep threat.” said Nwachukwa

“When I was the A&M spring game it was a whole lot of fun.” he said, “The fans were calling out my name. I didn’t see too much passing, it was pretty basic.”

“Arkansas offense is the spread like Nebraska. They like to spread the field. Arkansas coaches said I could play early there too.”

“I went to a Oklahoma scrimmage and I got to talk to Coach Stoops I like him a lot.” said Nwachukwa, “Oklahoma’s offense is a lot like ours at Allen. Oklahoma coaches said they are losing their top 3 wide receivers and I could come in and play early. Plus their quarterback Sam Bradford will be back.”

“I don’t know much about Kansas but I’ll try to make it up there this summer.” he said, “Kansas did some great things last year.”

“I have narrowed my list down to Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas and Arkansas.”

“I would like to make it to some schools this summer and make a decision before schools starts. I would like to stay close to home where I can come home on week-ends. If I leave the area it would have to be pretty good. I want to go to school where I feel the most comfortable.” said Nwachukwa

sounds like along shot but there is a chance.

If you look at how much he doesnt talk about Notre Dame, then yeah, it looks slim. But he doesnt talk about any school any more or any less than he did Notre Dame so i dont know what to think.

No question, this kid would be a tremendous get - but here's my own personal 09 WR want list in order:

(1) Shaquelle Evans
(2) Rodney Smith
(3) Reuben Randle
(4) Marlon Brown
(5) Uzoma Nwachukwu

i'll take marlon brown over him. He's got more all around talent, and also, i think he would be a good get for out bball team.

Shaq is going to be hard to steal from those SoCal schools. Smith is a great lookin prospect. It looks like the Midwest will be a good fit for him. We just have to beat out all the SEC schools hes lookin at. I don't know anything about Randle so I can't make a very good assessment. Brown would be at the top of my list. Tall as hell like Samardzija and athletic enough to get top the ball. We need a guy like that. Nwachukwu is in the same league, Hes tall, athletic, and can go after those Clausen passes in the endzone. But what if we got Shaq, Marlon, and Uzoma?

Shaq doesnt want to stay in socal, it shouldnt be to hard to get him away...not saying he will go to us, but he will not go to SC from what i am hearing...I think if Shaq enjoys his visit at the meatchicken game we are the leader

My first choice would be Marlon, then Shaq. I am just a lover of height with good speed, versus a little guy w even faster speed.
