Well that was an excellent second half!

-Really happy to see Busenkell to get his hat trick. Been rough sledding for him since he got hurt last year; that was a really nice goal from X that could be valuable to have in the future.... would be nice to have scoring threats from every guy on the field again.

-Good luck to teams that keep putting a short stick on Faison....sooner rather than later that will be an extremely unserious strategy.

-The play that stuck out the most to me was Maheras darting a pass down to Luke Miller at GLE; felt like the kind of tough and impressive pass we haven't really seen in the offense since Pat was here.

-16 goals from 9 different players, moving the ball around, creating open shots....keep that going and there's not much anyone else is going to be able to do!

Im assuming you mean other than ND?
Yes....I hope ND doesn't see them again. As stated above, ND played about as well as they can play to pull the W out at home, but it's not a great match-up for them. I was glad to see ND finally put a pole on #88, Anderson. That kid gets better every week and is tough to stop. He was making everything happen early.
I actually wouldn't mind them losing to Virginia in the first round of the ACC tourney..Rest up, stay healthy.....Hosting 100% in the actual tourney and see what matchups you end up with.

I’ll be at the ACC championship Friday and Sunday if they win Friday. Go Irish!!!!
You seem like a similar age to me. Late 40s. Do you have a hard time seeing the ball live?
I'd go to a game if I was over there but I am certain I would have to ask everyone what just happened.

I have unconditional love for every one of you.

I don’t have a hard time following the ball until they are in scrums or playing close to the net. Open field play I can follow pretty well. Also the seats in the stadium are pretty close to the field. I went 2 years ago and we had a blast

I mean i dont think ND really cares if they win today, should be 1 overall regardless? I wouldn't take too much away from any of this.

Man something about UVA just melts our brains....hopefully this is more like 2023 and not a sign of things to come.

This was essentially a meaningless game...Basically no benefit of winning that game and having to play Cuse or Carolina again. They're locked into a one or two seed. Take the next game off, stay healthy, and whatever ACC team you play when the game really matters, you're dialed in.

ACC tourney champ is weirdly cursed in winning the NCAA tournament... think ND 2024 is the only team to have done it in like the past decade+... so at least we got that out of the way?

Seeding pretty drunk. UVA wildly over-seeded relative to their resume, seems like they got tons of credit for how they are playing in the latter part of their season.

Richmond totally hosed with a #4 seed and having to host Duke then play UVA.

ND should've been #1 seed and ironically being the #2 is a MUCH better draw. So no complaints from me.

Are quarterfinal placements already set or will that depend on who wins? Really hoping I can go see the boys at Hofstra.

Absolutely agree on all aspects! They have to come up with a better selection system! Just disrespectfully wrong that Richmond has to play Duke first round.

Women's D3 uses a straight NPI system 1-30. No malakas in the back room making decisions. The NESCAC is going to get 7 teams in which is crazy, but the numbers are the numbers.

What's your prediction for Memorial Weekend?

Game Day! Only favored by 5.5 goals today. Jacksonville is a decent team...They lost at North Carolina by 1, lost to Rutgers in OT, and lost at Duke by 6. They have a good goalie and a couple of guys that can put the ball in the back of the net. I obviously expect ND to win, but won't be surprised if it's relatively competitive from start to finish.
