We want to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability so much that we had to tear up JCPOA, which had led to Iran dismantling two-thirds of its centrifuges and removing 98% of its enriched uranium stockpile.

Imagine settling a decades old dispute to the tune of $1.7B in frozen assets with those fuckers! High crimes stuff!!

We want to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability so much we nuked our bargaining power and re-established sanctions.

We want to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability so much, we already "obliterated" Iran's nuclear capacity in June 2025, according to Trump. Done and done.

We want to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear capability so much, we’re easing those sanctions on Iranian oil to the tune of $14B towards the very people who were at war with.

4D chess motherfuckers!!!!!!
JCPOA had zero enforcement mechanism and left their Ballistic missile program intact. We were just supposed to trust the guys who chant “death to America”. It was a bullshit deal cooked up by Obama’s Hamas loving cucks at Pod Save America that just made them feel good

No, we’re supposed to keep trusting the same people who keep telling us there’s WMD’s in the sand.

Iran had been in compliance and the deal worked, like it or not.

Compliance was in accordance to the International Atomic Energy Agency.

  • Iran’s stockpile of uranium enriched to 3.67 percent uranium-235 was 123.9 kg, below the 300 kg limit set by the accord;
  • Iran’s stockpile of heavy water 120.3 metric tons, below the 130 metric ton limit set by the deal;
  • no more than 5,060 IR-1 centrifuges were installed at Natanz for enriching uranium;
  • Iran enriched uranium only to 3.67 percent uranium-235, the limit set by the deal;
  • Iran’s research and development activities using advanced centrifuges were in line with the state’s long-term plan; and
  • Iran has continued to implement the additional protocol to its safeguards agreement and permit additional monitoring and verification measures under the JCPOA.

When did Iran achieve 60% enriched uranium?

They were in compliance according to whom? They’ve admitted they had 60% enriched Uranium
You’ll be in a bunker protecting a desalination plant in some hellhole and you’ll still be defending this administration. Incredible.

And no unannounced inspections - Iran would have a month to clean up and transfer material if we wanted to inspect that they were actually following the 3% enrichment, which was retarded

The deal also had a sunset clause and would be moot now had we followed it, which was retarded

They announced their intention, and our intelligence assessed that they had

April, 2021. Or, about three years after numbnuts violated the deal based on nothing more than Obama Derangement Syndrome.

You act like it was some bipartisan thing that only Trump opposed because he hated Obama. The Republican Party all spoke out against it from the start, once again because it was regarded and had zero teeth and let them keep enriching.

Virtually all Republicans in Congress opposed the 2015 Obama Iran nuclear deal (JCPOA). In the House, 244 Republicans voted against it, and in the Senate, all 54 Republicans voted to move forward with a resolution of disapproval, according to NPR. This near-unanimous opposition was driven by concerns that the deal was insufficient to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

So, we have the same people who sold us on WMD’s were opposed to JCPOA based on feelings.

Now we’re financing Iran’s war against the United States, while teetering on a global financial crisis, so that, based on Axios reporting, we can ultimately strike a deal very similar to JCPOA.

Meanwhile, our Commander in Chief is spending about 25% of his days on a golf course of his resort.

Things are looking good!

Republicans based their opposition to the JCPOA due to it being favorable to Iran and not holding them to the fire for, among many issues, funding Shia Militia Groups. Is that the "feelings" position?

You believe the Trump admin will cut a deal similar to JCPOA? Where have you come up with this practical impossibility (my term)?

Angry that Trump Golfs? He golfs less than 9% of the time. Trump Golf Track

TDS is running strong with you.

What’s more favorable to Iran, $1.7B or $14B? Is 3.67% enriched uranium or 60% enriched uranium more favorable to Iran? Just curious.

Nice try, but the bozo golfs 23.7% of the time. The website you provided hasn’t been updated since June, and only sporadically then.

TDS is really feeling the need to defend this clown at every turn, in the face of wildly inept “leadership.”

Yeah, let them continue to “only enrich to 3.6% we pinky swear we won’t go above it but also you can’t come check”, do nothing about their sponsoring terror in the Middle East, and relax sanctions on ther ballistic missile program.

Dw the talk of pallets of cash has really died down recently, I wonder why? No talk about ENerGy DOmInaNcE! I remember being alive when the gas prices were Biden's fault because of Keystone, but now that Daddy Trump is in charge there isn't this magical spout to turn on? Weird.

Where are the lines at the pump? We are producing. The lines aren't here. The pallets of cash was a dumbass idea. About as effective as easing sanctions and saying a stern... "don't"

Again, according to IAEA reports, they had not gone above 3.67%. I’m certainly no expert on nuclear psychics, but I understand enriched uranium has uses other than weaponry, and 3.67% was nowhere near the threshold for use beyond civilian energy.

We have no evidence Iran had not been in compliance. We do however, have evidence they were.

As for sponsoring terror and ballistic missile program, understand the points. Think you can agree a nuclear deal is not the ideal place to address these issues.

It’s not like sponsoring terror has stopped us from jumping in bed with the Saudi’s or Qatari’s.

Prices are going up up up. Let’s play a game of which is bigger: 1 or 14? I agree, pleading on social media is a very desperate and pathetic approach to foreign policy.

Buddy you’re just completely full of shit.

“According to the IAEA, Iran maintains a stockpile of 440.9 kilograms (972 pounds) of uranium enriched up to 60% purity — a short, technical step away from weapons-grade levels of 90%.”

Ummmm, do you not know Trump tore up the Iran nuclear deal in 2018?

Were you expecting Iran to hold up their end of the deal after Trump reneged?

The fact your arguing Iran will hold up its end of the deal is ridiculous. "Death to America" has been their chant since 1979..

Iran and its proxy networks have engaged in hundreds of attacks against U.S. personnel and interests since 1979, ranging from direct actions like the 1979 embassy hostage crisis to decades of attacks by proxies in Lebanon, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, including over 180 attacks between October 2023 and November 2024.

Iran has repeatedly hidden nuclear facts, materials, and activities from the IAEA for over two decades, with major undeclared sites identified in 2003, 2009, 2018 (the "nuclear archive"), and continued issues regarding uranium particles found at undisclosed locations up to 2023. These instances are not single events but part of a persistent pattern of non-compliance, including failure to declare sites, obstructing investigations, and sanitizing locations to block verification.

Prices are up because it's a globally traded commodity and we have supply shocks. However, because we have taken energy security measures and secured our own supply- we are not held down to lines at the pump or scarcity. We are not hostage to the Middle East right now.

So none of this existed when Biden was around?

Also, is 14 higher than 1?

Prices went up when Biden was around for different reasons. Both you could argue are self-inflicted. Very different value prop. Very different usage of Venezuela. Very different solution if this doesn’t lag on.
