Stanford had “The Glove” when they were dominating teams, Bama had deer antler spray, what’s going on at Indiana?!

Someone mentioned it earlier, so I looked at their roster.

They have a disproportionally small amount of Sophomore players compared to other programs.

As mentioned, they are absolutely stacked with 4-5 year players.


This matchup is kind of like the one and done Kentucky team vs the junior-senior filled Wisconsin basketball team.

IU has created the blueprint. Expect many in their tier (before they elevated to current tier) to follow.

They don't care about that. Once they won last week, the "they don't belong in the CFP" talking point stopped as far as they were concerned. In their mind, the #9 should lose to the #1. The only thing that can happen is that they get embarrassed enough to damage the reputation of the #4 and #5 teams in the SEC so they stop getting the benefit of the doubt going into the season. But even that is unlikely to happen as long as the incestuous relationship between the SEC and ESPN continues.

I know on conference championship weekend the committee was busy rewatching the ND/Miami game that took place more than three months earlier, and not watching the SEC CG game because those games don't count for Bama, but it still happened. So this isn't a surprise, is it?
