Glad to have him as the first commit of 09. What kind of player is he? All I know is that he seems a bit small in terms of the TE's we have been bringing in (6'4" 205 lbs) and that he has a great bloodline. Is he going to be the only tight end we bring in this class or does Reuland's transfer mean that we get another?

He measured in at 6'5'' 212lbs at the Junior all american combine in Janurary. Show he's got good potential to gain some more weight

I just watched some jr video on him over on rivals. He plays tough for being slender. Absolutely decleated a couple of guys.

Not surprised by his commit, it was just a matter of time in terms of when he got his offer. Very glad to have another member of the Golic family on board. He's got plenty of potential for growth, and with the TE's we have ahead of him, he'll get that chance to fill out and get stronger.

this is the only TE for this class CW works on a 1-2-1 with TEs. as far as i know this is true. I'm not sure this is the best TE ND could have gotten but i hope he proves me wrong. Glad we got another Golic though, just hope thats not the only reason we got him.

Did any one hear Mike and Mike this morning? Golic said Jake was 6'5" 220 lbs That's about the same size as Ragone when he came in. With his hands which are every bit as good as Ragones, he's a great pick up

Jake may not be as big as Rudolph and Fauria but he definitely plays like he is. In his film he seems to have an uncanny ability to win the jump balls. He goes up and gets the ball at its highest point every time. You've gotta have some great hands to be able to do that. Welcome aboard Jake!!

Jake is going to line up next to Trevor Robinson and they will destroy defenses, push them back 6 yards each f'ing play...ain't that right Tenuta?

I think this is going to end up being a really good pickup for us. He's got the frame to add weight, and from what I've seen, plays very tough and physical. Maybe moreso than his older brother, IMHO.

his main drawback right now is his size i think he will sit a few years and let rudolph show why he was a five star and then get some PT in his junior year after he's put on some muscle.

glad to see they are starting to grade this class for us. i was wondering were he would end up. he is still pretty skinny but im sure he will add more weight to his build and hopefully turn into a great weapon. is he built like his brother or is he much skinnier
