Man I love ND football! Back in 1993 I was serving a 6 month tour in Saudi Arabia when this game aired. I remember watching this game with an FSU fan and buddy of mine. It was awesome, (only to be ruined by the next game -- BC). Anyway, I met my wife on that tour and I gave her my ND hat that I wore while I was watching that game. I wrote a little message on the bill that ND would be National Champs which I guess was a little premature. She still has the hat 15 years later! Can you believe it, this game was 15 years ago!

My dad was at the F$U game. I told him not to come home without a "Catholics vs Creminoles T-Shirt" I thought I was so cool in school that Monday with it on.

Camp, on the back it had a 1 and a 2. The 1 was in F$U colors and the 2 was ND colors. There was ND color coming down on the 1 and F$U colors coming down the 2 and it said "The Day the Numbers Changed." Sweet shirt.

I had one that had a picture of a screw at the top and it read "screw" the polls, ND #1.

I can't talk enough about the '93 season. Freshman year, member of the band. Had my Catholics vs. Creminoles T-shirt. After morning march through campus and breakfast FSU morning, I hustled over to the Campus Post Office to buy a bunch of Rockne stamps and ND postcards to have them postmarked with a commemorative ND vs. FSU stamp in the 3 (?) different colors available. Played catch with my friends in the quad, concert on the steps, STEP-OFF (HERE COME THE IRISH!!!). Then of course the game. OJ on the sidelines for NBC. :)

I remember that day like it happened yesterday. It really sucks that FSU went on to win the NC that year. It should have been a shared title.
