Yeah, the MWC did this to attempt to maximize their opportunity to have a playoff team by ensuring their "best" team each year would never be locked out of the CCG. I'm sure the American had a similar thought process. Both conferences are more competent than the ACC which proves time and again to be the most incompetent conference in CFB.

As an alum of the other team, I will not in good conscience be cheering for that annoying team in blue, but it doesn't matter. Boise is to UNLV what OSU has been to ND. UNLV is not going into cold, rainy weather in Boise's home stadium and winning.

Hawaii isn't going to schedule a game for this weekend in case they're in the MW championship game.
They have the head to head over UNLV.
Brother, I'm a UNLV alum, between that and ND if I never have to hear "head to head" for the rest of my life it will be too soon.
Or schedule @Hawaii at some point in the season and then play the only other independent, UCONN, in week 13.
That game was over when Boise got into the MWCCG lol. UNLV hasn't beaten them since 1977.
