Starting QB for USC??

I have no clue who Petey is going to start at QB but I predict that Mitch Mustain will eventually ,sooner if not later, start for the "sperm-stoppers".

He did well the year he started as a college QB and I believe he is MUCH better than Sanchez.

I was one of those guys that was wishing and hoping for Mitch to be Irish the "Jones/Frazer" year but he just couldn't commit fast enough.

I believe he's a very good QB and will give Jimmy a run for his money for the Heisman in a couple of years. At least that's what I hope for!

What'cha think?

I just read an article stating Mustain did very well running the prep team offense last year. We saw Sanchez was still pretty raw coming in for the injured Booty last year, so the job is up for grabs.

Then there's also Aaron Corp (a fellow alum), a 2008 sophmore, who was highly rated recruit but did not get any snaps last year. He seems unlikely to get much work this year given those two, but you never know what happens during the offseason with conditioning, working on mechanics and studying film.

I hope Petey has such a hard decision that he decides to install a spread option type offense during spring with a bunch of first time starters on the offensive line. that's a recipe for success!

I thought I read something about they let Booty play last year with an injury to his hand against Stanford because they didn't think Sanchez could make the plays.....It might be Mustain beating out Sanchez!

Hard telling, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is little Mitch. I'm sure his mother has told the Poodle that her son is the greatest QB talent in the land by now.
