You have a very valid point. Although I will sit down and watch the last round of the Masters if its good. I dont play golf but I watch it from time to time but I wont spend the whole day watching it like I do College Football. Valid point SouthernIrish.

i play golf but am not a big fan of watching. i rely on the highlights to get me caught up. although when my wife gets tickets for the hospitality tents at the Toshiba in newport, i can always find a way to sit and watch, get free food and drinks.

i guess it's the same as watching cars go round and round a track, or watching professional bowling matches, billiards, etc., you have to really like it.

i used to drive the beer cart in college for my summer job. that is my experience with golf

I love Golf and could watch it all day. I just got invited to play at Kelly plantation in Destin Florida for free on Tuesday. The normal cost is about $150-175 a round. Needless to say i'm extremely excited

I feel you with Nascar I hate living in the south with all these junkies. I was driving to work earlier this week and some asshole in an old Chevy Cavalier that was painted like the old Dale jr car(bumper stickers and all) was weaving in and out of traffic in order to beat the 4 am traffic. Talk about a loser!

I always thought that NASCAR would be more entertaining if they made 1 car turn around and go the other direction.

You were the lager lugger, huh? They're almost always hotties, so you can't be an old Italian Nonnie!

it was a great job. Drive a fun little cart around, have tipsy middle age golfers throw twenties at you for a five dollar beer, while working on your tan.

sure beat working at Wendy's

I love watching golf on TV... David Feherty is fun to listen to.. My favorite is watching when they are in Europe... the long grass and windy conditions...gotta love it

lol, reps. There is something inherently exciting about watching shiny objects racing around in a circle, apparently.

Racing and golfing are alike in that their both good excuses for getting drunk and outta the house. I find short track racing like at Bristol more exciting than big track racing at Indy, Charlotte, Atlanta, etc...the constant pushing cars out of the way to move to the front.

There has been a link between these sports, bowling & co-ed softball and cirrhosis of the liver I'm sure.

"cirrhosis" is that a new medical term???

I don't think it's new. Did I spell it wrong, or are you just messin with me?

The liver, the largest organ in the body, is essential in keeping the body functioning properly. It removes or neutralizes poisons from the blood, produces immune agents to control infection, and removes germs and bacteria from the blood. It makes proteins that regulate blood clotting and produces bile to help absorb fats and fat-soluble vitamins. You cannot live without a functioning liver.

In cirrhosis of the liver, scar tissue replaces normal, healthy tissue, blocking the flow of blood through the organ and preventing it from working as it should. Cirrhosis is the twelfth leading cause of death by disease, killing about 26,000 people each year. Also, the cost of cirrhosis in terms of human suffering, hospital costs, and lost productivity is high.

Causes
Cirrhosis has many causes. In the United States, chronic alcoholism and hepatitis C are the most common ones.
