Chris picked up an official offer today when Charlie Weis and Michael Haywood stopped by his school. Besides ND Chris already as official offers Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech, Florida State, Oklahoma, Nebraska and Oklahoma State.

As others have have Texas is the leader here and it looks as though it's going to be really hard to get him to leave the state, but he's basically too good to not take a chance at him.

Texas always fills up quick. It's not reflective of how good the class will be. They had 14 committments by the end of February last year, but only ended up with the 14th best class according to Rivals.

we have zero for '09 correct? i guess kids want to see if ND rebounds this season. i truly believe if we have a 8-9 win season and the defense is on the rise we will see an influx.

I understand your thought, but our first commit wasnt until February 19th last year. The commits will come dont worry whether we win or lose

just checked out his video and he's listed at 205 which looks more like it. He is tall though, and he looks like a track guy out there running. #65 in the rivals 100.

I actually agree with tko...I think most recruits are going to wait and see how things go before commiting this year! Only because there will be coaching changes if we have another bad year!

I'd love to have a class like Texas had this year for our class of '09. Not saying I'd swap our 2008 class with theirs (no way), but again, they brought in solid football players. Mostly four star guys. Can't find much to complain about with that.
