I also seen something today and Milton said something to the effect that some of his family members may not like his decision, but he has to do what's best for him. I wish I could find that link again. Anyways the point is we sit well going into NSD. I hope he went to bed right after school so he cam't be further influenced by his fam....

this kid looks to be having a really hard time deciding. look at what he is quoted as saying. something about his family doesnt want him to leave california and they might be upset with my decision. here is the link if this works. this is the one you were looking at i think ND=NC.

Things aren't looking good. Milton really wants to come to ND and he is still trying to convince his dad to sign the papers to let him come, but at this moment his dad seems to think he knows what's best and that is to keep Milton close to home by not signing a letter of LOI to ND.

Personally I don't understand it. It's not like UCLA is a great school and ND is a bad one. To me this looks like he is just being selfish and doesn't want to let his son grow up and choose his own path in life.

Why do his parents have to sign? The kid will be 18 -- an adult -- when he attends ND.

So is Knox not yet 18? Why does he need his parents to sign the LOI? I thought the kids were going to the university, not the parents.

Talk about a supreme act of selfishness on his dad's part.

couldn't he just announce today for ND and wait to sign when he does turn 18 then? LOI do not have to be in today.

Easy guys--families are a huge factor in recruiting, and have helped us a lot in recruiting this year more than they have hurt us. I don't know that I'd want a kid to come here against his parents' protests. It may not be what is best for him.

Technically they never have to sign them. They only thing they are required to sign is the scholarship papers. Today is just the first day they can sign.

How do you think the UCLA coaches are taking this. Milton WANTS to come to ND and the only way that they (UCLA) are going to get him is by having dad force his hand into signing the LOI to UCLA. Seems to me that could result into some strange chemistry between Milton and the UCLA staff!?!

Come on Knox Sr., let him come to ND ... he'll be looked after quite nicely there!
