He should have 3 years of egibility left I think he will be a welcomed addition as a pass catcher

I see this as good news. Was concerned we could lose Raridon but would assume they've confirmed he's coming back if they're taking more of a depth player there.
I'm a bit concerned about a player that was dismissed for disciplinary action as an undergraduate coming to ND. That's unprecedented, especially with several other TEs without baggage in the portal, and to top it off his 42.3 offensive grade was the second-lowest offensive grade on Arkansas' roster for his play in the 2024 season. For comparison, the lowest offensive grade on Notre Dame’s offense so far this season is reserve OT Ty Chan’s 47.8. You see it as good news because we added a body to the room? No cause for pause at the player added to it?

Yeah his dismissal was total bullshit. Have a little faith that Freeman knows what he’s doing.

Don't understand the last two transfers personally.

Unless they are expecting a mass exodus. But even still doesn't seem we're upgrading who would be leaving.

We need depth and I trust that the coaching staff wouldn’t be bringing in a transfer that will create issues in the locker room.
My only concern here is we’re only bringing in 5-7 guys supposedly and we’re supposed to be excited about the SEC players transferring in, he isn’t exactly the player or position I was hoping for.

It’s called depth we have 105 scholarships too use. I’m guessing a guy like Washington will be a depth piece in 2025 and maybe have a bigger role next year. What happens if we lose 1-2 WR’s with injuries early on or before season starts people will be bitching because we didn’t go after any in the portal

I highly doubt anyone will come close to 105. They can’t play on a 85 man roster they won’t at all on a 105 man roster.

John Brice is the only one saying 5-7 transfers coming in. Everyone else thinks more.

Reminder that Kris Mitchell was a 1,000 yard receiver last year. Glad that we have these new guys committed, but yards don’t always transfer over.

Agree with the sentiment that these WR transfers will help the roster but not fully move the needle. We’ll need absolute studs if we want our offense to look closer to Texas/OSU/etc but idk how we get them.

One thing is for certain seems like admissions isn’t being as strick as they used to be for guys coming in. Also Washington is from Georgia I’ll take a kid who grew up playing in Georgia over any state

A guy I really wanted Wisconsin James Thompson signed with Illinois not sure why we didn’t make a run here. 6’5 290 lbs woulda been the perfect replacement for Mills
