I don't think that CW cares how the announcement is done. In fact, I would think most coaches abhore drama, and just want it done.

you're probably right. it wouldn't make any sense for CW to do that at this juncture, since that would leave open the possibility that whatever recruit he was after may not actually sign with ND. the sooner they go public the better. plus, to keep it secret and not let the other school know does not seem like the kind of games he would play.

yeah, so let me get this right....KLM committed to ND after recommitting to TAMU. the only question is why KLM would recommit and then decommit, again. i mean im glad he is irish, but why not make it official. i understand the whole pressure from friends and tamu, but its not like he is getting on a plane for SB after he signs the LOI. he is definately going to take alot of crap for decommitting last second. it just seems kinda unclassy to me.

I'm he liked ND enough to commit to them after his visit instead of recommitting to A&M but at the time he just couldn't get over going that far away from homw, but the more he thought about it, he realized that he had to do what was best for him and his family's long term future. That's just a guess though.

My thoughts exactly Gip, I think he realized that it was the best place for his future whether he becomes a star or not, he will still be a winner when he gradutes with an ND degree.

We can thank his mom for this one, she had a big part to play here and help Kapron to realize ND was the best fit for him.

He also said he had fun reading all the message boards over the weekend watching everyone try to figure out who the secret commit was.

after watching his highlight film on und, this guy is going to be one physically imposing player once he fills out. he just looks so strong against solid texas competition. i know some people are worried about him being to light, but i think he will end up being perfect for the 3-4 look. i cant wait to see him along with ethan johnson after a couple years in the strength and conditioning program, opposing lines will be having fits trying to block these guys.

He isn't very fast though, at least thats the way it looked. Have him add 20-30 pounds and he is going to be one good DE.

The UND.com highlights are of his Sr. year and Kapron said himself last night that his Jr. film and Sr. film are like night and day. Obviously the coaches saw potential in him when they offered him so early after seeing his Jr. film and his Sr. year he's already progressed dramatically. We've got a very good one.
