Unless Carr is more hurt than they are letting on, it doesn’t make sense to get a starting transfer.

Oh I know....I just wonder if he's fielded all offers and finally decided in the last hour to let everyone know he's going pro. But these QB's are wild, he can change is mind in 20 min.

I never considred Klubnik, but I would absolutely take him--especially if Carr may not be ready and he is agreeable to the transfer. If he isn't ready, he could technically redshirt another year to give him more time to heal. I wouldn't be mad at that.

I would too now...plus he could reunite with Greathouse

I know less than you but I think it would make sense for both parties - assuming he wants to be a DT. Otherwise, spending the rest of his career as Bryce Young's backup can't be that enticing.

I would hope not. Bama's defense isn't anything special and the fact that he can't even provide them with rotational snaps is alarming. He's still got 3 years left, but I'd say the odds are better than 50-50 that he's a bust and won't live up to his recruiting ranking. It's nothing personal against him.
