Maybe a few of these are silent transfer commits where all of a sudden they just show up in the porty one day as: Stanford 🌲----> ND 🍀
Not sure if they are stanford. But betting a few are exactly like this. Also, there are more transfer windows

But you'd sure like to have them here for the spring. For instance, maybe if he'd been here, we'd have already known Collins was only going to catch every 3rd ball thrown his way...

In this specific instance, I'd be good with who ND currently has on the roster and not feel a new to replace Price. Same with OL.

But, the theory would still apply at lots of other positions.
Ya, and I wouldn't be upset with Price as I get it. But kid is a gamer and every time he is in I feel like he may take it to the house. I'd just hate to lose him, and God forbid Love go down. It's that depth that you see from some of the top teams in the country, and I'm glad ND seems to have it now.

I was wrong and thought there was another one in december. This one is open until 12/28. So there is time for people to still enter

But hasn’t it led to the super power teams being significantly less dominant?
Maybe, and that's a good point. Although I don't think many of the Super Power teams are less dominant. Clemson needs to up their NIL game. But everyone else (Bama excluded maybe new coach doesn't have buy in yet) is in the playoff and poised to make a run. UGA won't be better without Beck. But I'd bet my bottom dollar when he's gone they will jump right back to the top of the mountain. I guess I feel there is more parity because Saban retired and Beck blows oh and Dabo is a dipshit. LMAO

That’s true. ND has to realise it’s not going to have much in the way of a passing / receiving game in 25. So spend big on both Love, Price and the OL.

Maybe Carr comes out and slings it all over the place. That has been my biggest gripe about ND football in my adult life! How can ND not have a big time QB year in and year out. How is that even possible. It's NOTRE FUCKING DAME

Been looking back through this thread. Just want to make sure. Is the plan that, for at least the next week, we are to come up with every doomsday scenario of who will leave, and couple that with the "fact" that ND will miss out on all the top transfer players because they either A) refuse to pay (also a reason why our guys will leave) or B) we kept it quiet too long and the players couldn't wait to post their commitment to ND, so they went elsewhere instead?

ND is apparently taking big swings at portal QBs according to a poster at 247. This means Carr’s injury may be worse than we know or they’re concerned that he didn’t really get a chance to practice this fall with his injury.

There’s only two QB’s who I’d take if we took a QB Ewers or Haynes King no one else im interested in

Or maybe they are planning for a probable exit of one of the team's QBs (maybe even who already silently communicated that fact to staff, who knows?)

There are no big swings out there or even potentially out there. Hard pass. Going big on a portal QB would be a huge mistake.
WHAT?!?!?!.... the entire team of Marshall, MS ST, and James Madison is available...........

There has to be a realization that we are in the professional model era of CFB. This is no different than when you hear your favorite MLB team has discussed Player XYZ or has been involved in trade talks with Team ABC. No smart GM will not at least discuss upgrades across the roster. Everyone talks.

The two worst kept secrets that would be commensurate with the Hartman and Leonard signings would be Milroe and Ewers. I’d be shocked if at least 1 does not transfer.

Holy shit it’s Dale? And also- why would Milroe or Ewers transfer rather than go pro?

Good way to point out the absurdity going on with the portal.
Assume you’re talking about the little kid but may as well be talking about the Boise State QB. What in the actual fuck is he thinking announcing that before a bye and playoff game. I’d be pissed if I was one of those hundreds of BSU fans.
