Picked up a conditional official offer today from his coach through Latina who was at his school pending his SAT score.

He also already has offers from Pitt, Rutgers and 'Cuse.

Eric coud also end up playing offense or defense in college and at this point he doesn't have a favorite side of the ball.

I don't know that he's a "lock" to ND. I heard he was pretty high on Penn St. (ugh) and Rutgers, but that was right before the ND offer.

He hates Penn State. I heard he rejected an offer from them, Can you even do that. Same with anthony Urbania he rejected an offer from OSU

living in Philly i see so many cars with those stupid paws on them. the penn state fans here are so obnoxious. it's like i'm back in ohio dealing with buckeye fans. any time ND can deliver a blow to PSU whether it's on the field or in recruiting i'm happy. GO IRISH.

well, if he didn't, he may not like them much now. the way the posters at fight on state talk about his fellow scrantonians, he may as well be from ohio instead of PA. the people on that site are knuckleheads if they don't think kids are reading what's posted over there.

I am pretty familiar with the Scranton area because my mom's family is from Scranton. I can tell you this much without even having seen his film. West Scranton, along with teams like Erie Prep and Pittsburgh Central Catholic, are always in the district and state mix.

And West Scranton has 1300 kids, which means they play the highest level of competition in PA (AAAA). Pryor is a great player and will do well at the next level, but his competition, especially in football because of numbers in AA, is night and day compared to AAAA. Shrive plays against real good schools, lost two close games last year. The fact that he doesn't like PSU and lives in Scranton puts a big smile on my face.

West Scranton plays at the AAA level. They played my hometown tam which is AA. We beat them in OT. There's no question the kis has a ton of talent. We also played against Pryor. Best athlete I've ever seen. He really put on a show. Jeannette is an A school, but elects to play AA.

Wow I thought for sure a school with 1300 kids would have to be AAAA. It does go by male enrollment. They must have a helluva lot of girls. Who's your hometown tea, Trippero?
