Regardless which WR's end up at ND this cycle, these are a few I'll be watching as ND chose not to go after them, either at all or to the end.

Us barely getting a look from Bergen Catholic’s Quincy Porter, who is looking at Michigan, Penn State, and OSU Is a head scratcher to me. It would be one thing if it was the SEC powers.

Yea a highly rated ATH who liked Notre Dame, and comes from a school like Bergen Catholic. If only he had the NFL bloodlines.

I think he got his shot. From reading off platform pieces about him, feels like he was a Big Box shopper

Olugbode was measured at 35” arms, 10.5” hands. That crazy for a 6-1/6-2 Human.
Yes it is, I have big hands (palm a regulation ball at 13) especially for my height (6'0") and mine measured at a smidge under 10.5" but arms I don't remember.

I sat through two hours of IB podcast for all you hosers on the latest recruiting intel. Took me a few days to get through it, I dont know how their base has the time to listen to 2-3 hours daily but here are my notes on confidence levels of the 2025 class. They do their confidence level on 1-10, ten being an active commit, 9 being a silent ( even though they hate to ruin a kids moment with a CB) 8 is pretty much a lock but without a silent, 5 is a 50/50 chance, 2 is a longshot, 1 is a hat on the table.

RB- James Simon 2 (if not simon they are done at RB)

WR- Derek Meadows 4

WR- Talyn Taylor 3

WR Tanook Hines 7

WR Dylan Robinson 7

(WR they needone but would take two of the above)

OT Josh Petty 2 (Petty is a want, if he is out then they are done at OL)

LB Madden Faraimo 6

LB Nathaniel Owusu 5

LB Noah Mikhail 3.5

LB Gavin Nix - 4.5

(LB need minimum of one but will take two, Owusu is a late decision and ND is in a good spot, if they get a commit for Mikhail or Faraimo they wait on Owusu and Nix is out, if neithe Mikhail or Faraimo commit and ND pushes for Nix, ND would be the favorite for him)

CB- Mark Zackery 9

S- JaDon Blair 8
ND should get Zackery and Blair which would make this secondary class legendary and championship level.
Updated list of prospective recruits

OFFENSE:
RB- James Simon 0 (LSU or TEX)

WR- Derek Meadows 6 (ND/'Bama, LSU)

WR- Talyn Taylor 0 (UGA)

WR- Tanook Hines 7 (ND/TEX, U$C)

WR- Dylan Robinson 7 (ND or UCLA)

WR- Jonanthony Hall 5 (PUR, STAN, ND)

WR- Malik Clark 2 (NC, NCSU, SC, FSU)

OT- Josh Petty 0 (FSU, TENN, O$U)

DEFENSE:
LB- Madden Faraimo 9 (ND, UW, O$U)

LB- Nathaniel Owusu 8 (ND, scUM, U$C)

LB- Noah Mikhail 0 (TAMU, U$C, UO)

LB- Gavin Nix 4 (UM, ND, FSU) No room??

CB- Mark Zackery 10

S- JaDon Blair 9 (ND, PSU, scUM)

DB- Jahmir Joseph 2 (PSU, ND)

SPECIALIST:
K- Erik Schmidt 5 (WISC or ND)

Feel like we're going see names pop up at RB later in the cycle. We've had a lot of recent success there (unlike WR) and have recruited the position very well with Deland. Staff probably pulled the trigger a bit early there.

I was thinking that earlier but this RB class isn't very good, and the RB room is still pretty deep. Probably need to focus on '26 or maybe grab one out the portal in between cycles

Is that your version of a bat signal?
Somewhat.
But these days, never trust pledges.
There was a kid this week from another team, who told all that teams’ sites he was committing to that team he was currently on an OV to, but then as soon as he left the OV, he committed elsewhere.

At least this prospect screwed over Michigan

I think that that's the wishlist moving forward. ND wouldn't turn down any of these guys if they want in, regardless of numbers. The only question would be a fifth wide receiver. If Robinson & Meadows come aboard, and Hines wants to after... would they? I don't think they would pass on him in that scenario. He has ran consistent times of 10.5 or faster this year. Despite numbers and body types, no one in the offensive class, has that type of gear.

Just wondering what people are reading behind pay walls as to how many of the right guys they would take?

I find it interesting that Rudolph has brought Indy's Cam Herron to campus a jazillion times and that they've added more WR's like HAll & Clark to the mix late.
