We’ve all had times where the first time we did something it didn’t go exactly as we wanted until the next time. I was hoping to see that during the season, saw some growth in pa pass.

Hopefully self reflection and more experience propels his performances in big games.

I agree - self-reflection and growth is key here. Hopefully he can continue to do both.

My main concern is how long it took for him to grow in instances. For example, when it came to running more PA, it took weeks of complaints and an absolute masterclass in squandering 4Q drives against Clemson to adapt. Happy we finally did adapt, but it was too little too late. In all honestly, our offense was in the slums for four straight against OSU-Duke-Louisville-USC. 5/6 if you go two games further and include Pitt + Clemson.

What happens when we have some other deficiency next year? Will it take several games to figure it out? When you have a guy learning on the job, you need to be able to learn and react fast as the landscape changes. Next team’s ND team will be a totally different makeup, and my main concern is Parker won’t be able to react fast enough.

Can't find his actual thread, but now that we have a top RPO QB for 2024... Does anyone know Parker's experience running and calling RPO?

We never saw it with Sam but it has to be a staple of the offense with Leonard. I can already see him running it to the short side of the field that has an extra safety in the box.

Weeks of IE members self-scouting the offense and offering measurable adjustments in a totally reasonable manner.
