Final thought in beating this dead horse- I try to remind myself that these lists are started with who the players list as which teams they are interested and then the the recruiting services lists or confirms who of those schools listed by the kid has offered. I think.

I've been laughing my ass off while writing all that pig latin. So yeah, I've probably been having a little too much fun with it!

Scout.com never updated his profile... He actually has offers from OK. State, Baylor, Georgia Tech, Arizona, Boise State, Air Force, Southern Miss... The only problem was Scout.com has only had Texas scouts for a few months now. Everyone on there has been on there for a long time now.

Thanks for the update GOND7, but I don't see us making a late push for his services.

I think we have better prospects to go after like Page. We shouldnt just fill the roster for the sake of having numbers and not quality depth. Ill take 2-3 at each position with quality talent than 4-5 with decent talent. If we want to add depth, then we need high quality players. Look at the USC, Texas, Georgia, etc.

Any word on his favorite foods, television shows and music artist? I bet he likes BBQ; living in Texas there is no way he doesnt like BBQ. Ribs and bbq beans with some corn on the cob, coleslaw and cornbread. mm mmm.

Maybe he just wants an ND offer so he can go to an Urbie BBQ?

This is a guy more suited for BSU- my neck of the woods. Not the elite ND with 4 and 5 star recruits. If he were to go to ND, he would be the type (not him personally, just the level of recruited talent) that would look to transfer after 2 years and staring at a 3rd year not making the 2-deep roster, or a hard worker who goes thru his playing career not making major contributions on the field but still charishes the ND experiance. First I thought our greatest fears were realized when Epstein signed a letter of intent with Air Force. But I was relieved when I saw that Air Force isn't on our schedule for at least the next couple of years. LOL

In all seriousness, good luck to Evan at Air Force. The joking that we did on this thread was never really directed at Evan himself, rather the 2 or 3 posters that came out of the woodwork that made him sound like a monster recruit.

Excerpt from newspaper article on his commitment:

Epstein didn’t choose the Colorado-based academy at first, though, and instead leaned toward committing to Navy. Then Paul Johnson left Annapolis for Georgia Tech, and the possibility of becoming a Yellowjacket never seemed greater.

But when all was said and done, making the commitment to Air Force, more importantly his country, just felt like the perfect fit.

Whew... I glad I didn't crack on him during this thread. He is now a fellow Airman. I'm sure he'll serve our country proud
