Sorry, but my life's a little busy to be reading stories about players I could care less about. I don't even have the time to read all the ones I want to.

You're the one trying to call me out. Why do you even care what my opinion is anyway? It's not like I tried to say that it's a fact he will be in trouble or that he already has that pattern of behavior. You need to get a life and quit getting so worked up about crap that doesn't matter.

You're both being WAY too touchy here...

Gipper puts more time into this site than anyone, he provides more inside info than just about any other member and I can assure you all it's legit... so he does indeed have facts backing him...

as far as opinions... they're called opinons for a reason... instead of being known as simply "the way it is"

you both are intitled to them... and both have good points... how bout we just leave it at that... and as always, leave insults out of it.

I got to admit, this kid scares me a lot... I keep telling myself, plase have Rutgers or someone we don't play every year get this kid to think twice about Michigan...

Don't take this as a personal call out. Take this as me pointing out that your comments have no factual evidence. I'm replying to your comments, not so much you. I'm thankful you spend a lot of time updating the site, but I can do without anyone - you, or Santa Claus - spreading character concerns about a player that have no factual evidence to back them up.

You dismissed my point that he has not shown any hints of being yet another Willy Williams. If there was even ONE bad thing about Terrelle Pryor, you WOULD know about it. He is THE BEST PLAYER IN THE COUNTRY. On the other hand, If you don't actually follow Terrelle Pryor at all, then you had no place to speak bad about him in the first place. In both situations, you have to admit that you either (a) didn't follow him or (b) didn't know anything bad about his character. In either case, you can't say those mean things you said and consider those comments meaningful.

You're kind of taking my comments personally, when I am more or less venting against people who say crap about recruits when they know nothing about them. I'm denouncing criticism that has no factual basis, that's all. It's really nothing personal.

I observe a lot of message boards, and after the AAA game, a lot of people were saying stuff about Pryor like, "He sure doesn't seem excited about winning all these awards! WHAT A THANKLESS BA****D!" I seriously can't make this stuff up. Where were all these comments before? People are just bitter they are not getting the top player in the country. However, going from calling him a thankless ba****d to a future screw-up who beats women is a pretty huge stretch.

I didn't insult anyone, man. I just said the comments were "complete non-sense" and "B.S." if they had no facts to back them up. That's a logical statement. If GoshenGipper is ashamed of saying something, then so be it. I say stuff I am ashamed of, and people call me out on it. Afterward, I thank them. I am not too proud. I am not always right - I am not like the Cartoon TV Dad Stan Smith on American Dad who thinks he is always right.

I respect people that back up what they say, or after realizing they can't back it up, apologize and back off. My respect and admiration for people can increase when they see the error in their ways. It's a commentary on the times that "flip flopping" is confused with "changing course". It's one thing to change your opinion on an issue - it's another to say what's convenient to get votes. As an observation, America as seen through the media doesn't seem to get that. Politicians are leaders just like sports figures, and people not only expect perfection from them but have a skewed perception as to what perfection is. Ho hum.

Not trying to jump in between you two but I have to say I like the way Pryor carries himself. He seems pretty mature and down to earth and I've never seen anything from him that seems remotely thuggish. He speaks pretty well and his mannerisms just seem to be those of a normal kid (when he was getting the AA MVP award he seemed to have not heard what the army rep was saying to him so he leaned in to actually listen to the guy - maybe this doesn't mean anything but to me it suggests that he is a polite/good kid).

I hope he doesn't go to UM, and if he does I hope we dominate him. His throwing was so-so for being such a highly ranked QB, but his running was superb. Best of luck to him (as long as he doesn't go to scUM).

Goshen Gipper, First of all I am not trying to answer for Z-BO but just from my perspective of reading this part of the thread. When I read your post about Terrelle probably getting into some kind of trouble before he finishes college I was expecting some back up info from you for the simple reason every since I have been part of IRISH ENVY I look forward to your posts because you seem to be very informative of what possibly could take place or what is taking place; so when I read a thread and you talk about a recruit whether ours or someone elses I know you have reasons why you say what you do. So I guess what I am saying is people or most people have a tendency to take stock in what you say. I know we all have opinions as do I and we all should have opinions; but with your off handed comment on Terrelle Pryor I was surprised that it came from you. Not tryin' to cause a problem or take sides just lettin' you know what a newbie was thinkin'.

Ditto from another fresh fish.
In my short time (3 months viewing, only 1 month as a member) I always expect the best from GG and am never disappointed. I am just waiting to hear more about his comment. He might decide that his source is not worth quoting, hence just the slight comment that shows more in depth info on the topic that he can't disclose.

I can see the Z-BO side of this, but maybe just a touch too sensitive for a small comment.

I got some word that the Pryor situation goes like this. He wants to go to OSU. His whole family wants him at PSU. Hers the part i dont understand how this is legal. I herd if Pryor comes Charlie Batch gets a job on the coaching staff at psu

Mel Kiper said PSU increases their chances the longer this goes on. As far as Batch, I have seen a lot of guys get jobs following a recruit in basketball. I assume it works in football too.

Good for us. I mean for him to choose scUM, he would be a 4 year starter. The next Pat White imo. With a decent stable of RBs they would be pretty good. I just hope we can come around and kick their sorry asses next year.

Umm he has Steve Threet who was a 4* Elite 11 participant from the 2007 class. I know for a fact Charlie was recruiting him in case we lost out on Clausen. He was our 3rd option behind Clausen, and Paulus.

Okay, I didn't know that, sorry. I guess we'll find out soon enough what he's got. In any case, losing Pryor is a major burn.

I hope he goes to Oregon. PSU really would be ok too. Seeing scUM and O$U lose out makes me laugh either way.

They will design the spread around his abilities, and 3* QB committ Justin Feagin will come in a Tebow like role. I know some people at UM and my friends cousin is a walk-on there. This is what most people think is going to happen.
