I wish we would, the kid has awesome abilities. If we whiff on Deion Walker why shouldn't we throw our hat in the ring? I don't think we will offer him but the staff needs to seriously consider it. Plus Urabn wants him real bad, it would be nice to steal one form under his nose.

buddy of mine in baltimore says Tate is a stud. he's watched him play and said ND would be silly not to go after this kid. i'm not sure what his test scores are like but a talent like that should get a look from charlie, especially if urban is eyeing him up.

Eh, i dont think it'll happen. With everything we know about the kid, he is 100% irish, he loves the team, its where he wanted to go from the very beginning. Id be completely surprised if he leaves the team to go anywhere, especially scUM.

Key word here is kid! It would not surprise me one bit espeically with all the young talent we already have at running back! The attraction of immediate palying time and playing in the spread offense with Pryor for (4) years will be hard to compete with if this is true!!!!

He probably wouldnt play that much at UM. Look at what Dick Rod did at WVU... who was his main back? steve slaton... Who is more like Slaton at UM? JGray or Sam McGuffie. I think McGuffie would get a large majority of the carries in that offense with or without JGray going there.

yeah, i know he's a kid and subject to the temptations out there. i just want another quality kid involved in this class. we have some real high quality recruits coming in and you hate to lose any of them. time will tell and maybe we get a few more guys to join the party.

Michigan probably has contacted him but I highly doubt anything will come of it. IMO this is probably being played up to increase subscriptions before NSD.

Jonas has been out there activley recruiting for the Irish. Why would anyone believe something like this? He was at N.D. last weekend to talk to KLM, he will be back this weekend with Mike Martin and his parents to try and get him to come to N.D. GG correct me if I'm wrong but this is what he has said he is going to do.
