To the point that I wonder if he's hurt.Wow. Billy Schrauth’s arrow took a sharp downturn all of a sudden.
Not sure that's true. He started out camp with the 1s, but since then, LG has been a pretty constant rotation. Wagner was rolling with the 1s at LG prior to Coogan taking over there. Coogan being there is the first time there's really been a solid guy at that spot all camp.Idk. He was manning that LG spot until 1 week ago I thought.
More ammo to fight our monthly battle of the misguided “shopping down the same aisle” crowd every time we get a commit that isn’t a five star. Thank you Jamie 🤝Maybe they’re pumping sunshine but even if so this is some good shit about the freshmen and sophomores. And I’m here for all the Traore hype.
In the ISD article, Jaime U said he wouldn't be suprised to see Jagusah start at LG by the end of the year.Jagusah is not pressing for playing time.
He has struggled all camp & a coach Tuesday mentioned he was still “confused” at times & had a long way to go.
He’s been repping with the 2’s & 3’s.
The pressing is him trying hard but not sure what to do.
Great point. When’s the last time we had 4 guys from the same class starting on the OLine at the same time?Like many hearing Cross during the bowl prep and others rave about Schrauth, it's easy to forget he's just a sophomore. That's still before most olinemen are ready.
It's also easy to forget Coogan was a highly ranked kid that the beat had heard good things about. He's just in the same class as Alt, Fisher and Spindler... but he's a junior, which is typically when you see if those guys are going to be contributors or not.
Saw that as well. I think John Brice clearly meant pressing for PT.In the ISD article, Jaime U said he wouldn't be suprised to see Jagusah start at LG by the end of the year.
Rudolph is lost
Rudolph is a bum
Two days after he posted that squat critique Balis was sent packing. Hopefully he shows Rudolph mercy. You didn’t like HH either
Right! Jury still out on if Coogan will hold the spot, especially if Schrauth figures it out at some point.Great point. When’s the last time we had 4 guys from the same class starting on the OLine at the same time?
Sounds kinkyRudolph is on my watch list. I hawkeye squats and o line coaches. He’s on a short rope.
Surely, I would have guessed, he would have asked you to coach OL and be the lead squat inspector at this point then.I hold too much power, but Freeman has my number on speed dial.
The news on Hart is pretty sweet!ISD 8/11:
Cam Hart back and going through drills. Pat Coogan still with the 1's. Charles Jag with the 2's behind Rocco, but that's due to Kristofic being banged up a bit too. Stuckey lit up Merriweather for being lined up wrong on final play.
