Well when one of the mods happens to be a Florida fan, and has acknowledge that I tend to be worried. Florida also offered teammate TJ Pridemore in an effort to get Hunter.

The guy is one of the mods of the mainboard and is one of the more reliable and respected guys on the site. The USC stuff was probably junk but you never know. The stuff about offering Omar's teammate is true as well.

Well Pridemore was contacted by Gatornation (pretty sure it's ESPN site) and he said him and Omar will be visiting January 11th. Again I wasn't too sure what to think of this, just thought I would share what I heard. GG should be able to set the record straight.

Sigh, I just knew this crap was going to hit the fan when I ran across it this morning. This was reportedly started on either the Florida Rivals premium board and then taken to the main board by a Georgia fan and I've also heard that it started on Gator Country. ESPN's UF affiliate, they were formerly with Scout. Anyway I think this is all just a bunch of crap. Yes, I'm sure that Urban is doing everything he can to screw ND over but remember how carried away WeAreSC got with their rumors with Omar not that long ago. Omar is Irish and he has repeatedly said that he will honor his commitment as long as the coaches are there, plus I've seen him take pictures with people that held up a signs that Omar was all Irish, he changed his phone number so he couldn't be bothered anymore and he is rooming with Braxton Cave at the ESPN/ABC all-star game. If he does then so be it, but I'm not going to sit around worrying about it because they're are going to be a ton of rumors about several guys over the next month and a half and Omar will be one of the worst as we've already witnessed. At this point I wouldn't be suprised if if the next rumor that came out stated he was related to Chuck Norris. Given that he's friends with Tebow now and everything.

People would be upset b/c recruits who committed to ND this year made a promise they'd stop looking at other schools. We'd be worried b/c of what happened last year with Trattou. But I agree, at this point there's no reason for either reaction.

Congratulations to <strong>Omar Hunter</strong> and the Buford Wolves, who brought home the class AA Georgia state championship today with a 50-0 drubbing of Lovett. It was the seventh shutout of the season for Hunter's defense, as the Wolves brought home their fourth state title since 2001. Yeah i can see how people would get upset at the idea that a recruit like Omar could be having second thoughts, I dont however see how some can actaully get mad enough to the point where they get angry at the people relaying the information. Get a life Petey, just because your commits are jumping ship this year doesn't mean ours will. That being said, it bodes well for the immense talent that Hunter has that a team as loaded as SC is aggressively pursuing him. I'm glad Charlie was there too, if for no other reason, to ease my mind.
