The post-game comments by Zibby and Laws made me proud. Any recruit watching how they described their experience, in the midst of an awful season, would be crazy not to see that football is but one component of being an Irish football player.

1) Let zibby throw one so he goes in the record book
2) let the scout team qb throw the ball as he also deserved some sort of recognition in the books


Other than that, great win, Hughes looked amazing and allen had a great game also.

Bragg should be in the record books for two plays; loss of two yards on two plays, but I'd take them.

Weis said he had a couple of passes for Zibby to throw, but he felt that would have been disrespectful to Duke, so he didn't call them. I would assume the same for Bragg.

Only emotion I felt from this game was when Thomas fumbled. Felt bad for the guy. Posters will say he fumbled, but hopefully pro scouts will see that Thomas was bashing heads when the ball happened to go elsewhere. Great run Travis.

I agree, not only did that suck for thomas, it also sucked for zibby. It took plays away from the both of them in their final game at ND.
