Currently Clemson, osu, Georgia and PSU... He loves the process... The others are just for attention from fan bases

Anything that happened B.M.F.M.F. doesn’t matter now. I heard they are changing Du Lac to Du MFMF.

I was thinking the same thing… only really remember Alohi Gilman in recent history. But that was all before MF2!!!

Amir Carlisle a few years before.

The reality of essentially unmitigated transferring will be just fine for guys that want to leave ND, but a real obstacle for guys that want to come to ND. ND will have better results with grad transfers.

Due to academic standards (and here I simply mean ND having some), in addition to signing day, most schools will also be able to run a free agency period in the offseason. ND will have signing day, and maybe pick up a couple grads in the spring or summer.

Even if they have the grades?

Yes. You could have "good" grades at Mississippi St., but because of academic requirements, standards, and core classes, you still may not be able to be expected to graduate from ND in 4 years (or 3, or 2, or wherever you are, class-wise). All schools and courses aren't created equal.

Exactly. Unless something changes with admissions, the transfer portal for ND is only open to graduates and potentially people who are just completing their first year. First years could possibly be able to have enough time left to be able to fit in all the core courses and still graduate in 4 years. Kids just completing their Sophomore and Junior years have no realistic chance of doing that and thus are off the table.

Yes. There are some exceptions, but the school you're coming from matters too. Serious students coming from places like usc and the Naval Academy probably have an easier time time getting in than Mississippi St.

Others here know more than I, but by and large, any transfers in will basically have to be from places like the Academies, Duke, Northwestern, etc. Maybe some schools like TCU, miami, SMU, Vanderbilt, too.

Isn't Fleming in-line to take a starting spot next year with Wilson & Olave leaving? Seems like a good deal with Stroud at QB.

So here's what's going on... Couple weeks ago Fleming was considering it as there was some issues related to playing time.... His family mentioned to my buddy he was considering transferring home to psu or going out west to Oregon.... Then he started getting a lil more time, caught his first td and haven't been told anything further... But he was never a take here grade wise from high school... Nothing to see here

Yeah. Flemming was never a take, and I assume he would still not be one. Doubt his personality would fit well here anyway. Unless these last two years have really humbled him...

Came here to bump because Fleming entered the transfer portal, and found the most recent messages about him never being a take because of grades interesting.

We need WRs, even if we get Kris Mitchell. Any chance the story changes with Fleming now? Has to be one of the best WRs in the portal, we did make his top-6, and it’d be nice to steal him away from another competing program.

I'd say no reason to get excited until someone says there's reason to get excited. He's going to be the top of the line and no one's said anything ND related thus far.

ND should keep tabs on him, but they should be aiming higher for a 2nd WR even if they bring in Kris Mitchell. Maclin, Sheppard, etc.
