The newest reports out have ND leading for both C.Gray and Deion Walker, but after the last few posts I'm guessing that you already assumed that about Walker.

Who else is he scheduled to visit, or who has he visited so far. I know he's been to Penn State, I'm not sure about the others.

He did visit Penn State for the Notre Dame game, and the only other visit he has set up is at USC for Dec.1st. He's also said he may want to take visits to Cal, Virginia Tech, and possibly Virginia or NC State. I'm not sure if he already took one to Florida St.

so he gas 2 officials left right?

Yes, if he chooses to take them. Remember where he's from so visiting VaTech, UVA, or NC State wouldn't be too big of a trip. Although from what he said if he took a 5th it sounded like it was more likely to go to VaTech than UVA or NC State.

In a story that just came out Walker is credited with saying things that if true would lead me to think he'll end up at either USC, or FSU. He talked about how he considers himself a big city guy and he was concerned weather or not South Bend would have enough things to do, and he has concerns about the climate in SB which would eliminate PSU too. He also commented on how much more there would be to do in LA. So even though he's saying that ND is right at the top I think he'll end up at USC of FSU unless his father can talk some sense into him. He also threw LSU back into the mix as a possible visit destination.

The one glimer of hope here as this story came from the same USC site that was starting all the Omar Hunter rumors.

Brice Butler's dad wasn't nearly as high on ND as Walker's. I have to think that will have a big influence on Walker's decision. Not saying it means he'll come to ND, but dad will have some sway.

I can't stand ESPN and their anti ND crap. That story is on the recruiting front page about how Deion isn' t sold on South Bend, if he is more worried about that stuff he will probably fit in better as USuCk anyway.

If he is like Brice Butler I don't think thats the kind of attitude you want around. After I saw Brice Butler's press conference, I was glad he wasn't coming to ND. I just hope we keep getting talented GOOD kids, and if Deion is one than great, and if he choose the Irish awesome.

Friends of my family have kids who go to school with Deion. They say he is an exceptional young man.

I'm not comparing their attitudes. I really couldn't tell you much about that other than a few bits and pieces, one of which was Brice's press conference. My thought process was more along the lines of they are both reportedly smart kids that see ND as an opportunity to play early and they both had parents that would have supported them going to ND, although Deion does seem to have even more of that from his dad, but both are elite southern WR that seem to be a little starstruck by the prospects of playing at USC in LA, and both have made comments about the weather in the north. That was the point I was trying to make, plus they are friends and Brice has been in his ear about USC.

I just thought that I should clairify that I don't think ND is out of if given how much his dad likes CW and ND and where this latest report is comming from.

I'm from Virginia, and very familiar with the area that Walker is from, and my opinion is that he won't be going to USC. It's too far; athletes in the area are more enamoured with VT, FL, and Florida State in my dealings. His visit would have to go perfect (meaning the promise of a house and car) to go out west. I wouldn't say ND is out of the question, especially not because of weather. It get's cold there, it's by no means cozy in the winter.

I don't think he is anything like Butler and the big city thing doesn't worry me that much because Tallahassee is not really that big.

As it turns out Deion saw the article that caused such an mess yesterday and he went out of his way last night to text an Irish site to let them know that it wasn't true, and they misquoted him very badly. Thank you Deion!

If all the rumors about Baldwin being the silent verbal are true, does ND still allow Walker to come on board? Or G. Robinson for that matter? Just how many WRs will CW take. It would be pretty difficult to turn away a 5-star receiver when you are starting the likes of Grimes and West. That's just my opinion, what is yours?

I do not think you can turn Walker or G.Robinson away! I do not think we have a shot at Walker or G.Robinson so I do not think it will be an issue!

From what I've read, we are in good shape with Walker and Robinson.

I think Walker is going to a warm climate school and G.Robinson Oregon lean from what I have read....

Baldwin, Floyd, and Goodman is a great receiver class...lets get some OL commits and wrap this class up!!!

I have heard that Walker is not as high on ND as many would like to believe. That information is from a good source so take it FWIW.
