Thank god! Hoping the Colts look better than the Irish have!

I'm not sure what to expect today. We haven't seen Wentz yet and I'm a little excited to see how he looks. If he plays well, Colts should win this game.

Wentz played pretty well. Oline struggled big time. Need Fisher at LT ASAP. LT struggled all day. Thought Wentz should have altered his cadence to slow them down a little. Defense had some lapses that cost them.

Colts played a little better in Week 2 against the Rams. Offensive line still looks pretty awful. Looking like the Grigson-era line. Wentz getting hurt last week isn't a surprise if you've watched that offensive line play this year. Having Fisher back helped but when he was out for certain drives, you could certainly tell the difference. Defense started out poor again and again played pretty well in stretches in the second half. Offense gave them the lead in the 4th and the defense immediately gave it right back.

Colts go on the road this week for the first time and play Tennessee. Brutal start to the schedule this year for the Colts. Divisional games are always tough so I'm expecting a close game (if Wentz plays).

Anyone else think we might be able to catch Urbie at the Brass tonight. I’m thinking likely.

I’ll have to admit that I wasn’t very excited when the Colts drafted Jonathan Taylor but DAMN!!!!….he is one hell of a running back.

Making Buffalo’s #1 defense look like children today.

Hard to believe but the Colts are 2 OT losses away from an 8 game win streak….

Re-injured his ankle again today. Didn’t come back in but the game was basically decided already at that point. So not sure if he could’ve come back in or not.

Yeah, he’s obviously playing hurt but I think he’ll be a go next week against the Bucs. Had today’s game not already been in hand then probably goes back in to finish.

Might be wise to sit him the following week vs Houston heading into the bye. Give him a few weeks to heel up.

Don’t know about that. They beat Tennessee today. Should be an easy W but over the last few weeks some shitty teams have beaten some good ones.

Damn. They were in control of this game then just kept giving the ball back to Tom Fucking Brady. The D forgot to show up in the second half as well.

Play calling has been suspect this half. I know TB is great against the run but at some point you have to give the best RB in football a carry or two.

The play calling in the second half was bad. Turnovers killed them but they still had a chance to win. When they finally decided to feed Taylor they drove down the field with ease and scored. Wentz played his ass off. Defense wasn't great but they were put in some bad positions by the turnovers. Just a miserable end to what could have been huge win.

Bad loss but I'm really starting to lose my passion for the NFL.

Biggitty bump, bitches.

HUGE win last night. If I were a playoff team, the Colts I’d hope to avoid. Big Q and that running game isn’t fucking around. Wentz threw the ball 12 times.

Wentz has been pretty decent all year but man that was an ugly game for him. JT is just unstoppable though.

Taylor came through behind Q for his 67 yard TD. I found this note in reading a recap.

It was second-and-8. Before the snap, left guard Quenton Nelson sniffed out a run blitz. He motioned to Pinter. This is what’s coming. Together, along with left tackle Eric Fisher, they sealed off that side of the line, paving a lane so Jonathan Taylor would have a sliver of space”

Pinter was playing for starter Kelly. Given his limited playing time, there's a good chance Pinter doesn't see that if Nelson doesn't let him know.

That win last night was impressive on so many different layers. But, I think most importantly, Wentz stepped up in a clutch spot and put the team on his back. Really hadn’t seen him do that, yet.

Also, a ton of credit to Strausser the OL coach for the continuity within that unit. Same to Eberflus and the defense.

Chris Ballard has built a DEEP team that has proven they can play with anybody, even under the most dire circumstances.

Except for the RT, Colts were playing without four starters on the O-line. Also without TE Doyle who’s their best blocker was impressive. All-Pro Leonard was out on defense along with YaSin at CB.

The drive to seal the game was impressive, but Wentz was less than impressive most of the game. Still needs to be more consistent.

I still question some of Reich’s play calling, but he’s got the team playing well and together.

Overall I agree on Wentz. He threw the ball poorly for most of the game. That pass attempt to Pittman on fourth down was particularly abysmal. He’s been solid this season—even better than I anticipated—and worth the additional first rounder back to Philly, especially considering it’s going to be a late pick at this point.

I think Frank suffers from some “smartest man in the room” syndrome. Example: How many times are we going to continue to go empty with Carson at QB. That’s asking a lot of Wentz to successfully navigate those situations without even the threat of a run.

What the fuck has happened to this team the past two weeks? Reich trying to be the smartest coach in the room? Raiders loss is sorta excusable because they’re decent and lots of guys were out, but this game is total bullshit. Jacksonville is 2 and f’n 14 yet the Colts constantly struggle with them. I guess this isn’t even a struggle though. This is the Colts now showing up and taking the Jags for granted. Embarrassing
