I agree. I think Ryan probably deserves it more (of those candidates who still realistically have a chance,) but Dixon is on what appears to be the better team so he'll inevitably get more votes for the award that supposedly goes to the most outstanding player in college football.

Based on what the award is supposed to be, I would say at this point in the season Tebow is probably the most deserving, though he won't be a serious consideration for voters because of his youth and UF taking too many losses.

We did, I'm pretty sure I've been hearign Dennis Dixon Heisman talk for 3 or 4 weeks. I think Ryan is the leader right now even though I thik Dixon is more deserving at this point. What hurts him is that he plays for Oregon, and their games aren't as availible as BC's games. Once BC drops one or two then that may help seperate the two. Hart's out, you can't miss as much time as he has and still win. As good as Tebow is he's still a sophmore, his team has 3 loses, and his hurt shoulder will decrease his stats for a while. Andre Woodson's rising INTs and UK's record have pretty much eliminated him as well. Darren McFadden's chances are almost an after thought as well. Realistically the Heisman race this year is almost like the National Championship race. No real elite canidates, and adverage and inconnsistant play keeps eliminating everyine turing everything into a big mess. Realistically after this week it's almost a wo man race between Dixon and Ryan. It's just one of those years. Two years ago any of the top four probably would have one it this year.That was the year that Bush won it, Vince Young finished 2nd, Leinart 3rd and Quinn 4th.

Yeah, it's matt ryan. Even if oregon wins out, those green uniforms will prevent dennis dixon from winning it. You can also scratch out all the other names on the list. Someone else is going to emerge from somewhere and outside of someone from WV, I don't know who. I think BC can lose a game and Matt Ryan will still win it unless he just plays horrible.

i want to vomit with the thought of Ryan winning the Heisman, especially after Brady putting up superior stats last year compared to Ryan and placing 3rd, not to mention the fact that i live in Boston and will hear "Ryan for Heisman" ringing in my ear till ND wins one. i voted hart because he seems like a great leader and hes a great RB..but i doubt he gets it. Dixon or Ryan, praying Dixon
