Dustin Pedroia is the epitomy of the American spirit...little scrapper who outworks everyone to get where he is at. Just having him makes the Sox more American than apple pie.

And I think its obvious that God loves the Sox more than anyone else...down 3-0 in the '04 ALCS and down 3-1 in the '07 ALCS. We obviously have the big man pullin for us!

How can anyone be critical of the Red Sox fans. They are the most knowledgable in baseball. They have been known to even applaud a great play by an oppsoing player and they actually watch the game and don't do some of the dumb things other fans do; for instance, you will never see them waving white "surrender" towels like the Cleveland fans.

Sorry, I wasn't being critical of the Red Sox. (I've v-bet on them twice to win baby!) Nor do I think only Americans should play baseball. I don't know if the Red Sox can be considered America's favorite team, though.

Manny Ramirez is hilarious. You can't appreciate his antics until you've seen him play live. One time he was on base and the pitcher kept looking him back and he started running in place. I laughed my ass off.
