Once I knew the game was close I was flipping back and forth when there was a break in the ND game. I had just flipped back to the ND jst as Stanford was getting ready to score, but I was unsure if they had or not. Then all of a sudden as there was nothin going on in the ND game the croud roared and I knew that Stanford had just scored and they had announced it at the Rose Bowl. Sure enough I flipped back over and saw that's what had happened.

I was trying to flip through the games to find the update because I knew it was fourth and goal and no one was showing it. Then the officials announced the Crum fumble was under review and the crowd erupted in cheers and I said "Stanford must have just scored."

It was exciting, Im happy Stanford won and Jim got his first big win that he needed. I was almost excited for Stanford as I was tonight for ND.

On this morning's Sports Center they cut to the NFL Pre Game cast, and during the conversation they took a little time to talk about USC/Stanford and Jim Harbaugh. A the end of the conversation Mike Ditka said "I don't know why these guys are in the same league as USC. These guys (Stanford) actually go to class. LOL! This caused Keyshawn to turn to the other guys and raise his ams, but they didn't see him because they were too busy laughing their heads off at Ditka's comment.

I was going to go all in on USC but decided to put 12.5 million on them and 7.5 on Oklahoma. Best 12.5 I have ever spent.

People are trying to say this is bigger than Appy St over Michigan. I do not think it is. Stanford is in the Pac 10, Appy is in the Southern Conference. I still think it will be USC and Oklahoma in the NT game. What if USF and Ohio St stay unbeaten. That would be the worst thing ever for CF. LSU will get beat, probably by Florida for the SEC title.

No way. Stanford has been good in D-I. App State has been good in D-IAA. No comparison.

Michigan takes the cake as history's biggest loser.

USF has had a program since '97 and moved to 1A in '01, or '02 I believe. UCF has even been around a little longer than that. You might be think of FAU, and FIU. I think they've only been in D1 since '04 and they were both Ind. for the first several years as well. They both joined the Sun Belt last year.
