This was great. The last College football live show of the 25 hours of college football started 10 minutes ago. They showed the Tulsa and the other teams kick off. After that they went back to the show and Mark May said that he never played on the opening kickoff and then Lou said "Yeah, I always played my best athletes on the special teams" The other guy started to laugh and Mark May said "yeah thats why I was on the sidelines" His face was priceless when Holtz said that. Mark May is a douche bag!

Lou got him again...not as good as the last one but still funny. They were talking about Nebraska and Lou stated that Nebraska hasnt returned a kick off for the ten year period that their coach has been there. Then that Reece guy says "well maybe now they will with the new 30 yrd line rule" Lou laughed and Reece and Mark said said something about how Lou said that it would make a 2.1-2.5 yrd difference, basically making fun of him. Then Lou says "Ok, at the end of the year we will put the numbers together and have it right if front of us" then he looks at May and says "I know that hard for Offensive lineman to get, such as yourself!" May didnt say anything and sat their looking away from everyone and shaking his head and looking agitated. Haha gotta love Lou.

The freaking nerve of May is unbelievable!!!! He has the guts to say ND will be lucky to win six games and MIGHT win five... then gives a "give me a break look" when Lou said ND could win ten games...

I know it's all a gimic but damn it works!!! It gets to me and I have to say it can't help ND's situation, recruits and everyone see that crap

I think you may be overstating it a bit. Yes May spews hatred for ND, but I suspect that he is encouraged to do so because it generates feedback and ratings. I've heard guys in the media say they don't really care what the feedback says they just care if it's comming or not. If it is that means people care and they will most likely stick around to listen, if it doesn't then they are disinterested and will eventually turn it off. As much as Mark hates ND he seems like he might not be that bad of a guy away from the cameras, and it seems as though he and Lou have a pretty good relationship. So I'm guessing that neither one takes it too serious and they just have fun messing around with each other.

Lou does seem like one of those coaches that you'd call sir though, not coach, or Coach Holtz.

that's what i'm saying.....even his "analysis" of other matchups is just backwards to me....i mean, if he's just doing to to draw attention and get ratings, well whatever, but then don't put him in a spot to make it look like he actually knows what he's talking about.....it's hard to believe the guy has been around this game for so long when i really haven't at anything higher than the high school level and i can see things that he doesn't pick up on!

You know I had promised myself not to watch ESPN because of ND hater May, but now I'll watch just to see Lou stick it to this clown. May is crazy if he thinks he can win the battle of wits against Lou.
