I don't know sounds a little fishy and I haven't heard it anywhere else. Add to the fact that it is an ESPN board and almost 99.9% of the people there are clueless let alone have any inside info.

It's BS, Sabino has already done two Buckturd interviews and I don't think he'd be doing that If he was coming back to SB and going to commit. ESPN boards should be shut down forever for being so bad.

No, I think that Sabino probably just isn't quite ready to decide yet and he would probably still like to take some officials before he commits sometime in Oct., which was his original plan.

rivals Notre Dame site says that Notre Dame is still in the hunt. anyone think that he is going to come to Notre Dame, or is the consensus pretty much that he will go to N.Carolina?

From what his coach has said his visit went very well, mostly due to Corwin Brown, and ND is very much in the mix along with UNC and several other schools.

Did he mention how his visit to Columbus went? I don't know if we'll end up with him or not, too hard to tell, but I hope so.

Etienne said he had a good trip to ND, and that he has been cleared by the admissions dept. for early enrollment. He also mentioned that Corwin Brown told him that he was ND's fianl target on defense, and that he Sabino said he doesn't plan on making college choice until November.

It looks as thought ND will be getting one of his official visits.

I have a feeling we may have a few dry months until season starts. If they have not decided by now - aren't they pretty likely to wait until they take officials at this point. Anyway - I always like our chances once we get them on campus.

I think its a very positive step for us with the fact he's already cleared for EE. I know he's probably been cleared at UNC, but I like the fact he has a great relationship with CB. We won't have much activity in terms of commits this season, but we'll have a great head start on the 09' class. We've got what, 4 or 5 schollies left? Sabino, Patchan, TR, Floyd, Baldwin, one of the RB's, who's left out there? I don't see any of them commiting early in the season, so, it might very well be until November before we get a commit from somebody. I can't wait for the season to get as well.

We've got what, 4 or 5 schollies left? Sabino, Patchan, TR, Floyd, Baldwin, one of the RB's, who's left out there? I don't see any of them commiting early in the season, so, it might very well be until November before we get a commit from somebody. I can't wait for the season to get as well.

Williams may commit in early August when he visits with his mom, so that would take the running back spot. I also don't see us taking two more OL so it would probably be TR or Patchan, but probably not both. If we get Sabino, and 2 WR that would put us at 24 and I think we would be done.
