Whatever dude. It's not about me being "sensative", it's that your apparent need to make yourself feel tough by talking big doesn't do much to build up the environment around here. The guy said what he thought, he was wrong (I certainly hadn't been "under a rock", but I also wasn't on top of all the latest news), and you could have told him that in a more pleasant way. I think J-Pham said a similar thing about some of your remarks in the Floyd thread, so it might actually be worth taking this advice into consideration. It's not about lawyering or trying to set up rules (those only apply to bashing /recruits/), but just to encourage people to be friggin' NICE to each other, and not to discourage the non-experts among us from asking questions and offering their opinions.
Perhaps what I'm really after is this: Notre Dame is a Catholic school, and this is a Notre Dame board, so we should try to use some minimal degree of Christian charity in dealing with each other. (This is what I forgot when I turned into a stupid prick in that argument with "son of rook" over whether we should be keeping fifth-year seniors.) Sorry if that view seems somehow reactionary, but I'm sure I'm not the only poster here who feels that way.
