God, Family or Career?

I was reading that Kirk Cameron ( Growing Pains) is a born again Christian. He stated that in is his life it's God, Family then Career. I was trouble by this commit. I feels once you has a family now one come before that. Family God then Career is the order I would put it. Would like some input on this. Am I missing something in his commit.

From Christian scripture, one of the most challenging parts may be when God tells Abraham to offer his son Isaac up as a holocaust. Of course, in the end, Isaac is not killed, but isn't the lesson here that God takes priority over all else? he started very sensitive topics about politics(which is ok) but he started flaming people and making fun of them. He also told a couple of service men and women on our site to go back to iraq and kill some more civilians so thats basically why he got banned. hes also banned on GH

I don't mind placing God before family. God doesn't ask for much time. It's about love and devotion, if you are into God and religion. But God adds to the family, he doesn't take away. In fact, the family is better off WITH God, than without.

Of course, ND comes before work.

God should definitely be first. A good relationship with God will help provide a strong basis for a good family. Trusting in God will also lead to a good career path. The world would be a much better place if everyone prioritized that way.

I also still semi-practice the sabbath. I do nothing on Saturdays during Sept-Dec but watch tv. :footballh
