I predict Robinson stays with Nebraska.
If he visits again, I agree that he will be Irish.I predict ND

So then is ND giving out more than 23 scholarships this year?

Etienne Sabino, Ryan Williams, and if Jonathon Baldwin decides to come on NSD then they'll take him. That's 24 with a possible 25 scholarships used.
Just out of curiosity, any specific reason for Patchan as the odd man out instead of these guys? Not arguing, just wondering why.
It's so much better speculating if we'll have enough room than begging for someone to commit to us (like we did the past 8 years before Weis).

I'm suer that's true I've heard eveything like you have but until he's on campus I'm not going to get ahead of myself.ricochet, he is definitly visiting again
The optimism on Trevor Robinson committing to the Irish just might be an overreach. The SI article says that his unofficial visits to ND and scUM are just to confirm that his commitment to Nebraska is the right decision. It concludes by saying that he has stated that he still considers himself to be committed to Nebraska. IMO, CW and gang will have to wow him to have him change his mind.
I don't think so. He already really liked ND, and most likely favored them before. I think the distance hurdle was the deciding factor the first time around. Why would he go back and take a visit to a place he's already been many times just to make sure he wants to stay with Nebraska? There's something going on at Nebraska. They also might be losing one of their commited WR's and Brandon Leslie pushed back his announcement date just before he was exspected to verbal to the Huskers. From what I've heard, and other similar cases I've seen I think Trevor is now pretty sure, if not completely sure that he doesn't want to go to Nebraska, and is probably heavily favoring ND with Michigan as a fall back plan.
They're whole fanbase might commit suicide if someone from Nebraska doesn't want to go there. Newsflash: You're not that great and Notre Dame is the more prestigious school.First let me say I am a Husker fan, so I found the need to clear up a few things I have seen posted about what is going on at Nebraska.
Trevor is taking visits to please his father, not because of anything else. His father is the vice-chancellor at Nebraska-Omaha, so needless to say, he is very high on academics. It is why Trevor's father has been in favor of Notre Dame from the beginning. His father has not let up about taking more visits in hopes Trevor would change his mind to go to what he thinks is a more 'prestigious' academic school.
If the decision was left up to Trevor, he would be a Husker. Kids from Elkhorn, NE are usually diehard Nebraska fans. As Larry the Cable Guy said, "if you're from Nebraska and not a Cornhusker fan, you must be a communist."
So basically, the recruitment will be decided upon whether dad wins or Trevor wins. Sad thing is, it is looking like dad may be winning.
About some WR reconsidering his commitment -- I have no clue what you are talking about. We only have JUCO Adrian Hilburn committed, and their has not even been one rumor suggesting he is backing out on his commit.
Leslie -- I can tell you first hand he was ready to commit on Monday to Nebraska. He backed off because Coach Callahan asked him to make an unofficial or official to Nebraska first. The reason he did it is because if Leslie begins to have a big senior season and other schools come calling, he doesn't want Leslie wonder 'what if' and begin to look around. He wants him to be 100% sure of his decision before he makes it.
Lastly, in reading some threads, I have seen mention of Bryce Givens being unsure of his decision. Completely false. Bryce is 100% Husker. Yes, his dream school was Texas, but once Texas spurned him, that was it. Bryce wasn't ready to be 'Plan B' for them once a few lineman transferred.
Another reason to know Bryce is 100% -- his best friend and teammate Jimmy Miller is a HUGE Husker fan. I bring this up because Jimmy's mother is originally from Nebraska and posts regularly on a Nebraska message board. Bryce came to Jimmy's house just to use her account to make a post about his recruitment. He clearly stated he had ZERO interest in other schools and only showed interest to raise his stock to get into the Army All-American game. Lets face it, getting into that game is more about hype and offers list, so you can't blame Bryce for it.
He recently called the Texas coaches and told them not to even bother calling anymore, it was basically pointless since he wasn't changing his mind.
Just thought I should clear some of this stuff up that is floating around.
