Irish Envy Was Sold!!!

There was a rumor posted on another site that Irish Envy was sold, and after doing some poking around, I found the site where it was listed, and it turns out that the rumor is true. See link.

I guess that is why there is going to be "routine maintenance" this weekend, meaning the transfer of the web site to new owners. I guess it is none of our business, Envied One, but it would have been nice to know that you sold the site, and to whom, and possibly even why. Oh well.

CTR = click through ratio
Probably has something to do with the number of page visits versus the number of ad clicks for a certain page. I have never even noticed any ads on this site. I hope that whoever bought this place doesn't start overloading the site with them.

Asking $9k, wonder how was much paid for it. I think that it was last sold less than a year ago? Wonder what the turnaround is. Maybe I'm in the wrong business.

Welcome to the new owner. I hope he likes ND somewhat, and that it is not simply an investment, while leaving daily operations to others. Oh well.

WM Media sounds like just another internet company. when SJ over on DD said it was for sale i searched myself and found the same info as IUB. i posted it over on DD but kept it off of IE. didnt want to be the party pooper

i mustve missed it being posted on DD...my question to the owner/s is why dont they tell people theyre selling something and give people advanced notice?

Worry not guys, I have known it was up for sale for a week or so... Unless the new owner completely changes the site format and structure NOTHING should be any different


in other words, it should go a lot smoother than last the last sale **~~

Geez, after looking at all the stats and CTR's and:eek:hwhateve on the sell sheet, me and Bob Seger both "feel like a number."

Actually, all those numbers make me feel a little violated as well.:shy: That is a :joke:.

I was going to wait for the dust to settle before introducing myself, but I think now is a good time :). My name's Michael (The M in WM) and I'm one of the new owners of IE.

Pretty much everything with the site will be the same. I hope to launch a few special promotions for the forum members. I'm talking with LMI about it and we'll see what we can do. It should be a lot of fun.
