This is why I hate debates and all of this campaign junk. You get very little information about what canidates actually plan to do. Its because there really isn't a concrete plan formed and action is only taken once in office to please their constituants. Very little is done by either party on a micro level which is why the most important factor in voting is the macro plan of a canidate, such as economics and global policy.
The truth is I can't think of one president that has had a direct micro impact, and to be honest that is not their job, its the job of the local government (senators, governors, mayors). So while Hillary may cry about the problems in Upper NY, does anyone really belive that she will be able to solve any of their problems once she is faced with the vast responsibility of running a country?
I am a firm believer in Regan's trickle down theory and believe that is the only way a president can make any actual progress. Presidents need to address nationwide policies in order to better the entire playing field for all Americans. This means taxes, healthcare, education on a macro level. American's can't expect a president to address the needs of small city USA yet rather form or change policy at the top which in turn will have an effect on all. Thats why we have our local government in place, to impliment such strategies and make sure they are fine tuned to their individual town or state's needs.
So while Hillary prays on the ignorance of many of America's voters promising salvation and an eutopian society I just pray that the majority of those who go to the voting booths aren't fooled by her empty promises and rather vote on the canidate that will better America from the top down.
