The fact that Italy soccer players seemed to be so adept at diving was one of the reasons I was rooting for France. This article just confirms that notion further. Gamemanship? The "winning at any cost" attitude is really too bad; it's sad. I don't want to blow this out of proportion, but this kind of attitude goes beyond just sports, and seems to be at the root of some of the worlds evils. It's this kind of attitude that gets college football programs into trouble, too. It can lead to illegal contact with agents (trying to "win" the "money game"), recruiting scandals, and so on. Again, I will reiterate what I've said about ND before; one of the reasons I support it is because, for the most part, it seems to shun this kind of attitude.
