landon is also one of my least favorite players...i mean hes good but i wont forget how he does, or at least use to have absolutely no left foot. In the 2002 world cup i forget who it was against but he was on a breakaway and if he had just shot with his left foot he wouldve scored...he tried the outside of his right foot and the goalie saved it. It wasnt even a great outside of the right foot shot...he just pushed it instead of going through the motion. I get sick when i see pro's not using both their feet - i dont mind if they have a favorite but at least use both

when i play there is vicious tackling. I got red carded once for slide tackling a kid when he wasnt even near the ball lol. he had it coming to him when he shoved me down after i passed that damn ball....

Dang, My brother once broke someones leg in a AYSO league. It can be kind of rough, but the fact that there is little scoring, gives many fans a case of the bores. I did play 4 years when I was younger...but watching it now.......not so much.

Donavan seems in pretty much all ways 100% improved from his shoddy World Cup performance. There, he looked hesitant, unsure of himself, and lacked any confidence to run at anyone. He'd just pass it away, and disappeared from the field. I thought he was a goner for sure, a victim of his own lack of confidence in deciding he couldn't cut it in Europe and heading home for the US. But so far this year he is a new man! I'm not ready to jump back on his bandwagon yet, but he's done a lot to disprove my opinion of him. I hope he keeps this newfound confidence and lives up to the promise he showed back in 2002!
