Was offered last year but no profile was built. Said he is looking to visit. Per Panda via 247 would have come to II but his family will be on vacation at that time.

I wouldn't have built this but it sounds like he wants to bring his family to campus and 247 and Rivals think GT and Duke are in his leaders. That gets you a profile.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — A number of top prospects are aiming to have their recruitment over with by the time their senior year begins. Linebacker Leonard Warner is one of those and he talks about that here...

By the time August 20 rolls around when the Snellville (Ga.) Brookwood Broncos play the Suwanee (Ga.) North Gwinnett Bulldogs at 11:45am ET as part of the Corky Kell Classic in the Georgia Dome, Leonard Warner plans to be committed.

The four star out of Brookwood has well over 20 scholarship offers and he has been taken trips to colleges for over a year and a half.
Warner is 6-foot-3.5, 224 pounds, and he is being recruited as both an outside and inside linebacker. Scout currently ranks him as the No. 24 outside linebacker in the country.

Who's still in the race for the Peach State standout? Both in-state schools, Georgia and Georgia Tech along with Florida State are very much still be considered. Then he is looking outside Georgia at schools like Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State.

In the interview above, he breaks down the two schools closest to home, how he wants to take one more trip before he commits, what will play into this decision and more.

Warner is a jumbo-athlete on the football field. He has played both offense and defense on the high school level, but his home will be on the defensive side of the ball when he gets to college. He is smart, he has great length, and he can be moved around to make plays at linebacker.

This is interesting. Going to OV and received a written official offer. If he said yes right now would they take him instead of pursuing Phillips?

He's got a great looking offer list but UGA, Bama and ND are all conditional waiting on guys in front of him.
