Lets offer him. Though I bet he is more like 5-8 or 5-9. Could be a great slot CB.

Goes by Bookie.

Transferred back to California after playing at Bishop Gorman last year.

Plays with a loaded team at Calabasas with '17 class recruits, Darnay Holmes (Offer), Keyshawn Johnson Jr, Tristan Gebbia (both going to Nebraska). Plays 7v7 with the new Pro Way team.

From Panda via 247/Loy(?)

“An offer from Notre Dame would be beyond words. I honestly couldn’t tell you what it would mean. I honesty wouldn’t talk to people for like three days after that,” he said with a laugh. “I would need some time. It would be incredible.”

Radley-Hiles calls Notre Dame a “dream offer” and one of the schools that would be a lock to be in his top group.

“Notre Dame has a great, rich history,” said Radley-Hiles. “I mean, it’s Notre Dame. The academics, the prestige. It doesn’t get much better than that.”
“Our first talk was after my workout with my team,” said Radley-Hiles of Lyght. “We spoke about how he likes my athleticism. He likes my aggressiveness. He could tell I had a great football IQ. I told him how interested I am in the program because of my relationship with my former teammates, Nicco Fertitta and Aliz’e Jones. I told him that I knew a lot about Notre Dame and he was very elated to hear that.

“I liked him a lot,” added Radley-Hiles of Lyght. “He seems like a really cool guy. He’s down to earth. I have to respect that. That’s big for me. I want to play for someone I can talk to on and off the field. I like that about him. He’s a great person.”

Bingo. He measured into the Opening LA Regional at 5-9, 165. Ran a 4.55 40. A 4.12 Shuttle and had a 33" Vert for a 105.57 total. Nice score.

Yeah, this is real it appears. You get that vibe out here with the westcoast media. Having spent some time at Bishop Gorman obviously didn't hurt.

This is one guy that I'm not worried about SC or UCLA. I'm more worried about the Huskers. Calabasas is ground zero for the Calibraska movement.

I really like this young man.

Freebie from Biggins@Scout:

Bookie Radley-Hiles is one of the top athletes in the 2018 class. He's a very good looking corner prospect who has the tools to be a true lockdown cover man at the next level. He's a very physical player with excellent ball skills, field awareness and always competes at a high level.
We caught up Radley over the weekend at the Steve Clarkson QB Retreat to discuss a variety of topics. A hot topic out West is the influence of shoe companies and if it will impact recruiting like we've seen it impact basketball recruiting.
On the recruiting front, Radley said he plans to camp and unofficially visit a number of schools including the LSU Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, , UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans.

“Notre Dame has been so big to me since I was a young age,” said Radley-Hiles. “I come from Southern California, so the USC guys, when they play Notre Dame, thats the biggest game of the year. If you don’t like USC, you want to go to Notre Dame. Not saying I don’t want to go to USC, it’s just Notre Dame carries so much weight to me. It’s full of rich tradition. It’s a special place to me. It really is the best when it comes to college football and academics.”

“Nicco was the first person I told about the offer,” said Radley-Hiles. “There was really nobody I wanted to tell before him. I was in school and I was in between classes, so I gave him a call. I had to let him know. He was just telling me how excited he is that I have the opportunity to go to school there because it’s such a great place. He’s really happy there, so he was excited to hear that I could go up there, check it out, hang with him for a few days, and get a better idea of what it’s like at Notre Dame.”

“I really think Darnay Holmes and I will be on campus for the Irish Invasion,” said Radley-Hiles. “I really do. We haven’t bought any plane tickets or anything yet, but I really want to get there. We brought it up with my mom and his dad. We really want to take that trip and hopefully be there for the Irish Invasion. Darnay and I are really, really interested.

“It means a lot,” said Radley-Hiles, regarding the fact that Lyght speaks highly of him. “Lyght’s credentials speak for himself. For him to tell someone close to me that he thought I was one of the most smooth cornerbacks he saw this spring, it really means a lot. It nearly brought tears to my eyes. He’s done it all. He’s done what I want to do. For him to say that about me, it’s so meaningful.”

Pledger tweeted the same thing.

Are Hicks, Brendan, and TJ all friends or something? And are they all possibly coming here?

USC is his dream school and Florida is his leader? I have a hunch he'll be changing his mind all the way up to signing day.

Pledger and Bookie are friends for sure. They live up north. Chaminade is in West Hills, just north of Calabasas. They play for Proway 7v7. Elijah Gates is down south. He goes to school in OC at Buena Park. Pretty sure he played for Rize Up. That being said, they could all be boys but Gates said ND was out when BVG got canned.

A lot of people think ND leads for Pledger. If you look at his Twitter account today it'd be hard to argue. He and Bookie obviously appreciated the coaches stopping in to see them.

Meant to say Hicks. Too many Elijah's...

2018 Calabasas (Calif.) cornerback Brendan “Bookie” Radley-Hiles has had his eye on visiting Notre Dame for quite some time and next weekend the four-star prospect will make the trip to South Bend.
“I am definitely excited for my visit next weekend,” Radley-Hiles told Irish Sports Daily.
One big part of the reason the 5-foot-10, 180-pounder is making the trip to see Notre Dame is defensive backs coach Todd Lyght. The two have developed a solid relationship over his recruitment and Lyght returned the favor by stopping to check on him this week.
“Coach Lyght was out here on Wednesday,” stated Radley-Hiles. “We have been speaking about the academic portion at Notre Dame and how academics are taken very seriously there. We have also spoken about the possible time I could get on the field if I were to go there.
“He has told me about the package deal of playing with the different defenses and how I could make an impact in those different defense.”
The relationship goes much deeper than just Radley-Hiles is high on the Notre Dame recruiting board. While he is one of the top targets for the Irish in 2018, Radley-Hiles see’s Lyght in a different light than some of the other coaches recruiting him. They have much in common, including both had stop at Bishop Gorman.
“He’s the man,” Radley-Hiles said. “I always love talking to Coach Lyght. When we talk, he’s a cool person and he’s more than a coach. I just tell he’s a guy that you’ll want to be coached by. He’s a different because he can relate to you on the field and off the field. He knows what he is talking about and you understand the things he is talking about.
“It’s a little bit different and it’s funny he came from Bishop
Gorman too. We know a lot of the same people. With him I relate differently than any other coach in the country. There are different levels of relationships you get with different coaches, but its different with Coach Lyght because he’s been there.”
As he looks forward to the visit, the California native knows exactly what he is looking to see when he arrives in South Bend.
“I basically want to see the atmosphere and what it is like during a game in South Bend,” explained Radley-Hiles. “I want to see if I would like the city. I want to see how I would interact with the fellow commits and the coaching staff.
“I want to see if they are trying to recruit me as a football player or are they trying to recruit me as a young man. Do they really want to see me progress? I just want to see what they are really about. I want to see what the University of Notre Dame is about as a whole.”
Another big reason Radley-Hiles is making the trip across the country to see the Irish is 2018 Notre Dame commit Markese Stepp. Stepp is no stranger to recruiting Notre Dame’s top targets, but he has come hard after his good friend.
“That’s my boy,” laughed Radley-Hiles. “He’s hilarious. He texted me, TJ (Pledger) and Brian (Hightower) on Wednesday. He said, ‘I saw you guys tweeting about the Irish. What’s up and when are ya’ll coming?’ We’re trying to get TJ to come up there with me during the Miami game, but it hasn’t been set up yet. If that happens, then we will both be at the Miami game.
“Markese texts me every day now. It’s always like, ‘C’mon man. Come be part of the family. Come be part of the new DBU. Bring DBU to Notre Dame.’ He has texted me, ‘You like tradition, right? Well, this is the best tradition school you can get in the nation.’”
Notre Dame, Alabama, Arizona State, Florida, Houston, Michigan, Michigan State, Nebraska, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, UCLA and USC are just a few of the teams that have offered Radley-Hiles, as he is a one of the top of the top prospects in the nation.
The Irish are sitting at 2-5 on the year and the Irish are recruiting against the nation’s elite, but does the record mean much to Radley-Hiles?
“It doesn’t impact me at all,” stated Radley-Hiles. “People talk about how like a school’s record is so big in today’s world. It’s more about your future as a person. It’s not about – people will be like ‘Notre Dame has this many losses right now.’ If you look at it, they could have won those games if they made one or two plays. It’s not like they are getting blown out completely. It’s not like that.
“It’s like Nebraska last year, I think they have like five losses and all of them are within seven points. They are all mental errors and people judge the team by how many losses and wins they have. I don’t really see into that.”
It’s clear he is looking deeper into the program than just the record on paper and it will be curious to see what he thinks of the Notre Dame program in just over a week.
“I want to go behind the scenes and see how the coaches teach their players,” Radley-Hiles said.

“A lot of teams get bad coaching where their guys are being coached horribly. On the flipside, great coaching and then one slip up and a receiver beats a guy deep. You have to really look into the play and watch them to see what all is involved more than going off the record as an outsider.”

I haven't seen any updates from elsewhere saying he's coming for the Miami game.

Any other confirmations out there behind the pay walls?
