I was surprised about that too when I saw the replay. Refs let them play tonight. Seemed like an 80's NBA game where you had to get hammered to get the call. They were consistent with both teams though.

How about Auguste and Beachem coming up clutch with MONSTER free throws down the stretch? Kids played with ice in their veins tonight.

Bring on the Tar Heels or Hoosiers. I've got a feeling we're going to come out firing on Sunday!!!

Total opposite in the IU game...UNC was in the bonus when I got out of bed yesterday.

Would be so jazzed if IU could get by NC and have 2 Indiana teams playing in the Great 8 for a spot in the dance.

Complete side note: Are you from the South? The only person I've ever known that calls the "Elite 8" the "Great 8" was a roommate in college from Atlanta. Just curious if this is a "pop" and "Coke" type phrase.

Don't they call Soda "pop" in the Midwest also? I know someone from Missouri who called it "pop."

Went a little nuts with this game... nickel on the game and then doubled on the second half. Needless to say, Demetrius solidified himself as my favorite player...

Funny, I call it the great 8 - not sure if that is because I spent 7 years in Atlanta, or if they call it that here in NC as well.
