Here's my problem. Big, elaborate, in-depth quotes because the guy walked out of a presser lol. It just seems like an over-the-top response to delve into "Cam as a man" because of the press conference.

Not to mention, in defeat, Cam was on the field, shaking hands, congratulating Denver players.

He seemed fine in defeat to me. Just not to the media. That's part of the job, and it wasn't a great look... but I saw someone use an MLK quote to decry Cam walking out of the presser. Seriously?

As a Colts fan, I was rooting for the Broncos because I wanted PM to get his second ring. I really don't care one way or another about Newton. I'm not happy nor sad that he was voted MVP or lost the SB. Really don't care. But here's the bottom line.

This guy has had questionable character for a lot of years. He then starts doing some commercials and smiles all the time. Does some charity work and people claim he's a changed man. I wouldn't be surprised if he was strongly encouraged to do those things in order to boost his image. I don't have a problem with end zone celebrations, but I do when he or anyone celebrates a first down like they are the first ever to get a first down. He's also constantly in opponents faces. I get guys say crap during games, but he's constantly doing it. Shaking hands with Manning? That was pretty much obligatory. It would have been worse than getting up from the interview if he hadn't done that. All Cam had to do, was go to the PC and simply say, "Guys I understand you have a job to do, but I'm upset and don't want to answer any questions right now". Then get up. He would have caught some flack, but not like he is did. As I stated before, he's great as long as things go his way. When they don't he shows his true character.

Newton was immature and unprofessional. It's really as simple as that. Is it like being a pedophile? Of course not. Is it irrelevant to how he is fairly judged as a role model and a person? Of course. Doesn't make him evil; it makes him childish and unprofessional.

I don't have a problem with them having fun at all. He didn't look like he was having any in that press conference though. I also don't have a problem with him celebrating however he pleases. Again, if you can't distinguish the difference between class and being a sore loser that's your problem. He doesn't have to appease any if us, but as a public fugure he is open to mine and everyone else's scrutiny. I am not sure why you think having class makes someone a "phony" either? I'm glad he wasn't happy after such a lackluster performence, he shouldn't be. But it works both ways here. You want to rub people's noses in it when you win, you gotta eat shit when ya lose. Them's the breaks...

Feel free to rip this guy for rubbing it in too much. I thought this was hilarious.

Again, it is not the celebrating that I care about, but if you read my post you would realize that. Feel free to use your comprehension skills at any time.

That looked like electric football when one base is just so much stronger than the other...

a bunch of players complained that the turf was terrible and had to change cleats during the game. It's been like that for ever though they should have known

Okay so I suck at embedding. Though this was pretty funny. Looks like you'll have to scroll down on this guys facebook page one or two posts to see it. Andy Griffith giving Cam a pep talk. If someone else want to embed go for it.
